Besides the basic words like: sit, stay, heel, etc. what words do your dog(s) know and actually comprehend?
"Off" - for when I want them off my bed or the couch
"Give Kisses to Jane Doe" - and if I point to Jane Doe; Luci only will go up to that person and literally give a wet kiss!
"What's up there?(while we're on our dog walks)" - if I whisper this, but a loud whisper (if that makes sense), they will pull me forward to see if someone or something is up (further on our walk) there.
"Cookie" - exactly that!
"Turn Around" - only when I'm sitting on the floor and brushing them. If I need them to turn around so I can get another part of their bodies, they will actually turn for me.
"get your ball" - even with a floor full of toys and bones if I say this, Linus will specifically get his ball!

Toys - he knows most toys by their names: ball, cupcake, sasquatch, tire. Food - some different foods here: banana (his fav), cuc (for cucumber), bacon, dinner time (kibble)
Activities - walk, swimming, (after 6 years he finally likes to swim!) potty (aka number 1 or number 2), bedtime (2 of these - one he's in our bed for a bit then at 10 bedtime means in his bed) kisses, up (jump up on me, or permission to jump up on bed, chair, etc)
Our dogs know -Squirrel= they run outside barking to try to find the squirrel. -Go upstairs/ downstairs -Go to bed- means our room -They know their names individually, but if I say "puppies" they both look. -bones- to them means marrow bones -dog park -excuse me -wait
-go for a walk ( they go for their leashes) -go for a ride (they go to the door or car if we are outside) -treat -go outside -ball, bone and baby (toy names) -go to bed -Kitty
Hug Kiss turn around jump catch wait "do you wanna..." he knows he has a choice inside outside pee pee poopy cookie ice water play ball bone smile - he literally smiles sleep shake go stop hurry up home
There's more, but I can't think of it all now. It's scary because he's still learning more and more. I'm not even sure how he learned half of them. I can also put these words together to make a sentence and he understands and responds. Like when he's outside, I'll say "Hilo, do you wanna come inside?" If he wants to come in he'll waltz on in, if he doesn't then he'll look away from me.

They both know "breakfast" and "dinner", and seem to understand "Be nice to the kitty." (They usually back off the cats when I say this.) They also know "Go see Daddy/Mommy."
Petey knows "car ride" and "peanut butter cookie." Bently knows "snuggle" and "vacuum." Vacuum is actually B's favorite word, because it means he's supposed to check the floor for something I've spilled and clean it up. I forget who suggested that command - nital, maybe - but it took about 5 minutes for B to catch on.
My favorite is "Go to the carpet." This means they need to get their furry butts out of the kitchen while I'm prepping food and wait in the living room.
He knows most of his toys by name. For example, if we say "get your lion", he'll go pick up the stuffed lion.
Other words/phrases he knows: On your bed Go for for a walk Go for a ride Outside Upstairs Downstairs Dance Spin Tummy rub Drop it Dinner Food Treat Chewy Ice / icee It's okay
For the common commands like sit, shake, down, etc., he also knows hand signals and will respond without words. I started to worry that we wouldn't be able to communicate if he gets old and loses his hearing (he's at least 8 years old), so I taught him hand signals too.

"Walk" "Out" "Let's Go" "Kiss" "Dance" "Front Seat/Back Seat" "Water" He knows our names - not sure about the baby yet. He also has some where he has added meaning: "Do you want a bath" means "Go lie down on your bed" "Should we open a bottle" means "Lets go for a walk" "Okay" means "Run as fast as you can"

Sit Down (lie down) Give paw High five Touch Roll over (Reese only) Beg (Reese only) Stay Come (selectively) Off (the furniture) Go get it Leave it Breakfast/dinner Whoops (Thank you Nital -- means clean up whatever I spilled) Watch me Take a walk (means walk on a loose leash) Heel (means walk at my side)
Like when he's outside, I'll say "Hilo, do you wanna come inside?" I can't believe I forgot some of these.
"bang" - he dramatically falls over dead..sometimes you have to shoot him a couple times and sometimes he walks around hurt before he falls down. It's hilarious. play dead - he just rolls over on his back arms in the air wipe your feet - when it rains, I have him wipe his feet on the mat before coming in. wipe your mouth - he use to have a bunch of pimples underneath his chin so when we say this, he comes over to get his mouth wiped. high five leave it hungry eat no bite - I don't like him even mouthing my hands because i'm afraid he'll do it to other people and being a doberman....
Breakfast/supper Eat She knows most of her toys by name Go Car ride Dog park Walk Pillow Bed Shake High five The standards like sit, stay, down. Wait Roll over Outside- pee/poop Squirrel Bird Swimming Thirsty/water Medicine Kennel Off, in, up, down Out (of the kitchen) Rubs Touch Upstairs/downstairs Chew Speak Dig She knows her dog friends by name Momma/ Daddy Grandma/ Grandpa Way too many nicknames...
That's a long list...there's probably more. We have a smart dog, sometimes it's exhausting
"you're in the way" - you're in the way. Move. "vacuum" - eat food off the floor "go" - go away "take it" - OMG, so useful with the kid. They know not to take things from her even when she's shoving it in their face. They look to me and wait for permission "up up up" - Duke can put his front lets on something. Or me. "table" - all four paws up on something "go long"- Coral runs out to get the ball "chop chop" or "TODAY!" - hurry up
Daddy--For DH; if I say "Daddy's home" she goes berserk Wait Bunny Walk Upstairs--to get her out out of the basement Treat Park Go potty Feet (when we need to clean off her dirty paws) Dino (her favorite toy)
"High five" - self explanatory "Walk or walkie" - he goes fucking nuts if we use either of those words, so we've been spelling the word or calling it "special time" for years. He hasn't figured out "special time" yet because we're very careful not to use it near the time when we go for a walk. We sound like freaks. I choke on the word "walk" now in almost any context because it's so ingrained in me not to say it. "Ready to go to bed?" - he'll go from wherever he is to his bed in our bedroom (this started with me asking DH this every night, and eventually we noticed Noodle was going to bed everytime I'd ask that) "Get your leash" - he'll go looking for the leash "Treat" - self explanatory "Corner" - we use that if we need him to get out of the way or stop doing something; we designated a corner, and if we call it out, he'll go there most of the time; sometimes whatever we're trying to get him to stop doing is too interesting and it doesn't work "Gimme that rope" - he'll go grab his rope toy for a game of tug

Sable knows a ton of words that she chooses to ignore. Mostly "No" or "Sit Down". No, she's not that bad.
They know:
Sit Stay Down No Shake High Five! Other side (so they know to shake or high five with the other paw) Lay down Go on Get your 'fill in the blank' Get in your bed/Bedtime/Go to bed Walk Go potty
Up Up (for getting into the car) Bone Antler Bully Stick Car Ride Go potty Bedtime and Go to your bed (the former in reference to going to sleep for the night and the latter means to go lay on her bed and stop hawking for food or getting in the way) Treat Momma/Daddy drink/dink wait
I'm sure there is more. We didn't teach her any of those and I'm not sure what words she knew when she lived at her old home. She's scary smart and its possible that she learned some/most of the words since she has been with us.
Lily knows quite a few: Names for her toys: Kong Ball Crazy PomPom Rope Baby
Commands: Sit Down Stay Wait Shake and Other One High Five Double High Five Feet Check - she stops and waits for me to wipe all her paws off before running off like a crazy dog
Walk - followed by her running around jumping and spinning, then a sit Back - meaning let's go out to the back yard - also spinning and jumping, but running to the back door and a sit Up - Jump up on bed or couch or whatever we are asking
Momma or Daddy's home
Pill time - where she'll run and sit on her rug in the kitchen Crate or Crate Up - she'll go get in her crate and wait for a treat
I'm sure there are more, we talk to her all the time.
Max? Well he knows a few toys, sit, down, wait and stay and a few other things, but not near as many as Lily.
