Your babies'/kids' layering game

I'm not from here, so I barely know how to dress myself for the weather .

What clothes does your kid wear, especially in the Spring and fall, when it can go from 45 and rainy to 65 and sunny within the same day?

bjl wears a short sleeve onesie under pretty much everything she wears.. (although onesies only go up to size 2 so i'll be screwed soon). currently, on top she usually wears long sleeved shirt, and sometimes something else, like a summer dress over that..and when we go out, a zip up hoodie.

pants she wears regular pants, and if it's cold out, leg warmers on top.

We do a long-sleeved shirt or dress, pants/leggings/tights, and usually a light jacket that she brings with her for outside play. When it starts to get consistently warmer, I'll have to find her some more short-sleeved shirts to layer under her typical long-sleeved outfits.

I have a bunch if onsies that are too big for louie so bigger than a size 2 -- onsies don't work with potty trained kids so you're welcome to them! They're all white various sleeve lengths

thank you!! but we are almost done with potty training right now (which i hate, btw)..so we won't be needing them soon, esp with summer coming up, we'll be doing fewer layers. somebody else could get more uses out of it than me!
