I am trying to figure out something to do to give me the final kick before our beach vacation.
We have done P90X. I like it but it tore me up physically doing 6, 1-hour+ workouts a week. Plus obviously very time consuming.
Right now I am running, doing HIIT workouts and I attend a kettlebell class twice a week. The kettlebell class, of course, is taking a little hiatus and won't return before my vacation. So now I am rethinking what I want to do in the next two months.
So if you are in decent shape do you think this workout is challenging? What do you like/dislike about the workout?
One big thing I read was there was less standing around with this series which drove me bonkers with P90x. GET TO THE POINT TONY!
I haven't done P90X, but I have X3. He still rambles a bit, though I've heard its less than the orginal. I also run, do kettlebells, and have Insanity. I like insanity, I just needed something different.
I do not have a pull up bar and my kids ran off with my rubberband, so I've been doing kb swings every time it calls for a pull up. I need to upgrade some of my hand weights, but I do like P90X3.
One reason I like it better than Insanity is there is a strength training component to it. Insanity is pure cardio.
