Does anyone have trouble going over with sugar? My daily goal is 50 and I always go over that. I eat a lot of fruit, so I guess that could be why. I also eat greek yogurt (chobani, fage) with the fruit in it. I guess I could just do plain with fruit, but grab and go is easier for me.

Honestly, I wouldn't stress about it if you're happy with your sugar consumption. Fruit does have a lot of sugar, but it's not the same thing as mainlining Snickers bars. I sometimes drink a Gatorade during workouts (so for an actual nutritional purpose), and that pretty much guarantees I'll be over on sugar, but I'd rather have the carbs and electrolytes sometimes. It's worth realizing that your "healthy" snacks do have sugar in them so that you're aware and can react accordingly, but it's fine for your reaction to be that you're going to ignore the red numbers in MFP.
If I eat normally, I almost always go over. Honestly, a banana, a plain yogurt, and two slices of bread will put me over, let alone the sugars that occur in smaller amounts in other foods. I only stay under if I intentionally try to eat low carb. Otherwise I just don't worry about it. I know the carbs are coming from decently healthy foods, not candy and soda.

I do and don't worry about it. A friend who did we goth watchers told me something I always try to remember, no one got hear by eating too many fruits and vegetables, both of which can contain a lot of sugars
In offer to eat the recommended amount of fruits and veggies a day, I think it'd be hard not to go over.
The one thing I like about spark people vs. MFP is that they give suggested meal plans, all of which contain some form of fruit at almost each meal or snack.
1. Instead of eating fruit Chobani, I buy plain Fage (which I like better than plain Chobani) and put my own fruit in. It's less sugary. I usually buy bags of frozen berries.
2. I don't sweat it that much. Of all the numbers in MFP, it's one I care about the least. Right up there with sodium.

Thanks, all. I'm good about staying within the rest of the ranges but can't seem to get a green sugar day. I like the idea of seeing fiber instead. Denial and all that
I go over with sugar and I am not even hitting my calorie goals… I don't really agree with how much it says I should be eating when taking pregnancy into account.
I was told that the further from the equator the fruit is grown the less sugar it has in it. Strawberries (cold weather fruit) are a lot less than banana and pineapple. Gram for gram, bananas are the worst.

I haven't heard that before, but it makes sense! I try to stick to berries and apples, avoid pineapple, mango, and bananas.
