Outdoor fabric is probably not dyable. Its mostly likely a synthetic fiber that has a special coating on it. I would just recover them. Look a the clearance section of fabric.com, they usually have some cheap options.
I'd probably make a new cover for them but I can buy outdoor fabric at a local store for cheap
This is what I'd do.
I swap out my mom's cushions most years. She has a set in MD that are all white, blue and yellow for her 3 season porch and a set that is more "tropical" on her lanai (what the locals call the 3 season porch in FL) in FL. I use Sunbrella fabrics which go on 1/2 price sale at Joann Fabric or I get them on 4th Street in Philly/.
I put zippers in them so they can be laundered- the MD set has piping as well. I used to plastic cording to combat mildew. My mother did a super easy cover in FL when she moved in. She didn't have a machine available, so she bought brightly colored fleece and cut it into pieces about 6" larger all around than each cushion- 2 per cushion. Then she gathered the corners into knots with hair ties. She used different colors together- they were adorable. And they were easy to take apart and launder.
