I know there's tons of drama going down right now, but I have a serious question!
Pork roast was in the slow cooker for 6 hours. Got done about 10:30 last night. Presumably DH took it out of the slow cooker at that time. He left it on the counter to cool before putting it in the fridge... But he never actually put it away. Jerk.
I discovered it at 5am when I went downstairs. So it was probably on the counter for roughly 6 hours. It's fully cooked. I intended to shred it and then reheat it in a sauce.
Would you eat this? Please say yes. I hate throwing out food!

I'm weird about food being left out, but hate waste! I would tell my H that he has a shit ton of pork for his lunches for the week, I wouldn't mentally be able to get over it enough to not get nauseated while eating it.
Yessss! I love those of you who said to go for it. I'm generally pretty relaxed about food safety, but this gave me pause. We'll see what DH thinks, but I'll probably go for it.

I'd probably eat it. If it was done cooking at 10:30, you'd have to let it come to room temp before you put it in the refrigerator. That would take, maybe 2 hours, right? So really, it's only been left out less than 5 hours longer than you planned.
