Randoms/Easter

We're doing dinner at my parents (steak, cheesy potatoes, and either corn on the cob or asparagus...whatever my mom deems "looks better") that evening but that's about it. I'm doing my last preHM long run that morning since I have to work Saturday morning.

Aaaaaaand I'm having dinner with katietornado Saturday night since my parents want to go show my kid off at their neighbor's 3rd birthday party...whee!

Another one: I can't wait to pick up L from daycare today so I can eat the candy she received from her Easter Egg hunt.

We eat two meals on all major holidays. Lunch at my Nana's with my family. Dinner with DH's family. Thankfully 2 different meals this year. I am hoping to get a run in between the meals. I am off tomorrow. DH's cousin has been staying with us for the past 10 days. I am looking forward to my house all to myself.
I am going to make strawberry/pretzel/cream cheese dessert. First time ever.

I have tomorrow off from work and am going to get my long run in, take a long hot shower for as long as I want, getting a massage later, then shopping with my bff. Cannot WAIT! Work has been a killer lately.
For Easter Sunday we are driving an hour or so to go out to eat with the in-laws. I am planning to make egg-shaped Oreo Truffles dipped in chocolate, with piped frosting to look like decorated Easter Eggs. We'll see- at least they will taste yummy!

Tomorrow after running some errands I'm headed to KITH's for an egg hunt with the kiddos. Saturday we are going hiking with my sister and nephew. Sunday will be church, lunch and a nap.

We are travelling to my in-laws (about 2 hours away) for Easter and my Mom comes in from Ohio tomorrow so we are excited

I really wanted to take tomorrow off and take my Daughter to see the Easter Bunny but it looks like that isn't going to happen I know there is always next year but since she was only a few weeks old at Christmas she didn't get to see Santa so I really wanted her to see the Easter Bunny but it just didn't work out.

I have zero motivation at work today and I have sooo much stuff to do. It is a beautiful sunny (although chilly) day out and I want to go for a run so bad!! Looking forward to the weekend and getting outside!

We were going to head to H's grandma's house and celebrate MIL's birthday in the countryside with extended family, but his grandma already had plans to go somewhere else for the long weekend. So instead we're staying home, doing something TBD for MIL's birthday, and I will be eating my chocolate Easter egg that my dad and his wife brought down for us and that I have been obediently saving.

I finally went to the doctor for my knee and my shoulder, and I was supposed to get my shoulder ultrasound done and have the doc look at it right away. After I paid, the guy doing the imaging said that actually he was going to lunch. Eff you, imaging man. So now I have to wait and do both the knee MRI and the shoulder ultrasound next week and then wait for the results to be ready so I can go back to the doctor. And of course since they manipulate your joints to diagnose, my shoulder is now killing me.

Thanks, man! I'd never had an ultrasound for imaging vs. PT before moving to Chile, so I'm never 100% sure if ultrasound is the right word when it's images too. I am going to update my post now so no one thinks I have a tiny baby in my shoulder

Lol they are synonymous but ultrasound is the term used now for everything, including during pregnancy (in the states at least). I'm actually not sure if sonogram used to be the favored term in medicine, or if that was more of a layman's term. Anyway, yes, it's an imaging technique.

Sunrise church if it can swing it; I love early morning Easter service. Otherwise later church. Then lots of food & sweets with family.

It just occurred to me that those of you running Boston will have the expo on Easter. It seems strange somehow. Does Boston often fall on Easter weekend?

Sat am I have a long ride. H will take DD to the neighborhood egg hunt - so cute. We will dye eggs in the afternoon then we're planning on going to Easter service that night.

Sun we are doing brunch w/ FIL & his gf at the country club #ohyoufancyhuh

I've already started in on the Reese's eggs, and I took a handful of jelly beans to use as long run fuel this am

Going to my parents for Easter. My DH has to work . Nothing special except for our tradition of shooting Easter eggs. Whoever hits the most wins a prize and respect of my dad.

Nah, you should see the state of my house and the 2 weeks worth of laundry piled up. Super woman is almost out of clean socks
