It was uncharacteristically high because we're having the ILs and my mom stay with us this weekend and I needed to re-stock the liquor cabinet. So, 3 bottles of wine, bottle of rum, a few 6 packs of beer=$50.
We spend a shitton of money on food. We only eat out 2-3 times a month, my DH has a huge appetite, and we value good-quality ingredients. I shop mostly organic, and higher-end stuff like good blue cheese for salads, organic dried fruit, and local meat and produce when it's available. Our food budget is $1K a month, and I regularly go over.

Groceries only we try to stick to $400-500 a month. We budget roughly 50-100 a week on going out.
Our last trip was $125 at Costco and we got fish, chicken and ground turkey, a ton of vegetables, yogurt, bread, milk and eggs. Oh, also granola bars. We have been eating less variety lately in effort to be healthier. (I.e, always a protein and veggies for dinner as opposed to various cheesy casseroles, pizzas, tacos, we were having)

$81 and change... just me, H and C. Normally, we spend around $250/month, the weeks we buy meat at Costco are higher than our short trips for bread/milk/eggs. We eat out 1x per week.

Our budget is $400-450/month. Last trip was on my lunch today, so it was a bunch of crap since nothing could be cold. I used the $10 off $50 and cartwheel to get snacks for the next couple of weeks (goldfish, fruit snacks, applesauce, pudding, little debbie), 6 boxes of Capri-suns, chips & salsa, drinks, cereal, work lunch stuff....spent $45-50 after my giftcard rebate. My normal is spending $60-$75/week for meals that week with another $100 or so each month in stock up items as I find sales.
$19, but it was only odds and ends. Usually I spend about $100/week at the grocery store and $40 at our food exchange. Maybe $100 a mo at Costco, mostly on fruit. My goal is $600/month. It doesn't often happen.

Last trip was Trader Joe's and we spent $120, which is the most we've ever spent there. We were stocking up before DS' birthday party and my parents coming to town.

I just spent $27 mostly on corn syrup and Easter candy. Don't judge me.
I usually spend about $400 per month. A regular trip to Aldi is $55-65. I usually make a run to Walmart twice a month for things that Aldi doesn't carry and buy fresh meat at a local meat shop or local grocery store.
Bananas 4 apples Strawberries A bag of salad Baked chicken A few pre made sides 2 tubs yogurt Hot dogs Hd buns
$55
We spend around $700 - $750 a month on groceries. This was a quick trip to get some easy dinner stuff for the week bc we are moving this week and don't want to deal with takeout every night.

Last trip was just over $100 at a Von's, which is higher than usual because I got a $20 box of overnight diapers. Our food budget including eating out is $800/month in HCOL area.
This may not be everything but pretty close: Milk Eggs Yogurt Cereal Bread Bagels, cream cheese Lunch meat and cheese Produce - apples, bananas, strawberries, salad, potatoes, carrots Veggie straws Mouthwash Jam Frozen fish Egg noodles Whipping cream
We generally keep one month's worth of meat from Costco in our deep freeze so that's why there's no meat. This covers 4-5 days of food and I'll go again tomorrow to pick up a few things for the weekend.
Our food budget is $600/month. We usually land at $700-750. It includes groceries, alcohol, restaurants, and some toiletries and household supplies.
We often follow The Fresh 20, and we buy almost all organic products. Shopping is done almost exclusively at Trader Joe's, mostly raw ingredients. Costco trip 1-2x monthly. Milk and eggs come from Smith Brothers Farms (it would be a bit cheaper to buy from TJ's, but I have a soft spot for SBF).
I don't keep grocery receipts generally, but here's an estimate of my last TJ's trip: -four organic avocadoes -2 lb. NY strip steaks -1.5 lb. organic chicken breasts -two broccoli crowns -two organic yellow onions -bag of organic lemons -24 oz. tub plain Greek yogurt -six-pack microbrew beer -cheap bottle of sparkling wine -pack of corn tortillas -bag of organic mandarins -bunch of WA asparagus -3 lb. (or 5?) bag organic red potatoes -bag of freeze-dried strawberries
That's what I remember. There may have been a couple more items. Anyway, total was ~$70 and that covered dinners and some leftovers for lunches for the work week.
Estimate: Strawberries Lime Carrots Jalepeño Tortillas Orange juice .75 lbs ground beef 1 chicken thigh and drumstick Chicken broth Egg noodles 3 pouches Cereal Tortilla chips A few pieces of fruit from the salad bar for dd to have after 2 croissants 2 donuts Farfalle pasta 2 jars of sauce
In our fruit and veg box this week we got broccoli, carrots, grapefruit, tomato and celery.
It's not really a typical trip as there are a few convenience items. But DH is sick so we deal this way.
Budget is $600/month. We are usually $100-200 over.
My grocery store trips are about $160 a week......and I probably spend another $150 on stuff at Costco every other weekend. So, close to $1,000 a month. DD is new to gluten free eating, so I am trying to figure out what products she likes and what I can cook instead.....it's definitely upped the price tag on groceries!
$80-something at Trader Joes. I bought mostly crap...cookies, chops, hummus, a few freezer meals, some greet tea matcha, pink lemonade, milk & a few produce items.
$80-something at Trader Joes. I bought mostly crap...cookies, chops, hummus, a few freezer meals, some greet tea matcha, pink lemonade, milk & a few produce items.
I usually spend between $80-$110 a week during my regular grocery trip. This includes everything for fresh 20 meals, plus fruit, bread, eggs, milk, yogurt, lunchmeat, and other odds and ends.
I probably drop another $150-$200 a month at Sam's on cereal, Lara/luna/cliff z bars, goldfish/animal crackers/string cheese and other toddler snacks, fruits and veggies, cleaning supplies, toiletries, baby wipes, random Carter's outfits, and meat.
Target, gah, $100 or so every other week. This includes diapers, random things I decide I need that are on sale, clothing for the kids, gifts/toys/greeting cards, toiletries I don't need in bulk, and usually paper products like toilet paper and paper towels unless I find a great deal at Kroger.
So, a shitton of cash. I reeally should work on a budget but it's probably going to hurt so I probably won't.
(Edit, to answer the question, I went to Sam's today and bought a lot of the items I listed above plus a $50 gift for MIL's birthday. I spent just over $200.)
We average $590/month (2 adults, 1 preschooler, 1 baby) spent at grocery stores and Costco. This is with menu planning but no real effort to lower spending. Restaurants are about another $150-200/month, and then liquor is another $130(some in bars, most for at home).

$105 today which is uncharacteristically high ($75/wk is the budget, or $300/mo).
We had to get extra ingredients for a giant Cesar salad to bring to Easter dinner Sunday. After that it's broccoli, apples, applesauce, sandwich meat, wraps, bread, cat food, garbage bags, spaghetti sauce, baked beans, ramen noodles, 6L of milk, granola bars, cereal, cheese, eggs, hamburg, yogurt, crackers, popcorn & chips for a snack bowl tonight,... I think that's all. I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two items.
Restaurants, take out, and booze fall into either the fun money category or miscellaneous (if we have extra money left from the previous month).

Our budget has gone right out the window since DD was born - it's shameful. I REALLY need to implement a budget. I haven't logged into MINT in months because I don't want to know how much we've spent on various things. denial, I have it.
Our last big trip was $94 - I don't know exactly but we usually buy chicken, sausage, pork chops, pasta, bread, wraps, milk, eggs, silk coffee creamer, tomato sauce, tomatoes, apples & bananas, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, broccoli. Those are pretty much our main staples, and then random condiments, or whatever sides we are having during the week.

DH picked up a few things at the store tonight: ice cream, yogurt, half and half, eggs, grape tomatoes, and Cadbury eggs for $21. Clearly there is not a whole meal in there.
I really don't know what we spend on food each month. I'm guessing around $600? We have a large freezer and stock up on meats, veggies, breads, and quick meals at BJ's or when they are on sale. I buy dairy, fruits, fresh veggies, pantry items, and recipe specific ingredients as needed. I tend to make one or two small grocery store trips a week.
Budget is $400. I know we go over that. Groceries are ridiculously expensive here. Not Hawaii expensive, but definitely more than metro TC. We also don't have options so we're stuck paying.
I bought food for Easter sides (carrots, potatoes, salad , and stuff to bake a birthday cake)
My sister is taking care of the rest of the meal.
I honestly don't know what my grocery budget is. I don't have one. I probably spend about $150/month on groceries with my own money. I live with my parents and they buy most groceries. My mom gave me a credit card linked to her account to pay for groceries, but I only use it when buying for the whole family.
For weekly groceries, I spend $90 on average. We follow fresh 20 for dinners, buy lunch meat for a few days and some breakfast foods.
Then usually costco once a month or so for Greek yogurt Apple chips Tortilla chips Granola bars Produce ground beef Rotisserie chicken
We don't count toiletries, paper products or cleaning supplies as part of our grocery budget. Those are bought at costco as well but usually once per quarter or more.

Since DS is eating now and I'm a freak and feed him only organic so far, we are probably around $200 per week. My sister also lives/nannies for us and we buy all her food. Having another adult who is at home all day has added to the expense.
I buy very little processed food. Most is fruits, veggies, meat which tend to be the most expensive.

I spent $65 at Kroger this week plus $17 on stock-up items at Target. I buy/freeze meats at Costco and have pantry items pretty well stocked, so my weekly trip is usually for produce, deli meat, dairy, bread, and whatever pantry items are on sale. In total, I would say our grocery budget is around or just under $300/month for two adults and a toddler who eats like a horse. That's for 5-6 dinners home every week plus breakfasts and lunches. We go out once or twice on the weekends. That number doesn't include toiletries, paper products, etc. I coupon and get what I can on sale and what I can't at Costco.
We typically spend about $150-170 each week. Every week, I get fruit, bread, stuff for kids lunches, almonds, milk, almond milk, cheese sticks, and ingredients for 5 (healthy) dinners.

$75 at Target for mostly staples Canned black beans Dry cereals Milk Lots of cheese (on sale, for freezer) Bananas Frozen meals (clearance Kashi/Blake's) Frozen pizza Yogurt OJ Cream cheese Coffee
I go to the fancy grocery store or TJs for organic produce and meat every couple of weeks. I usually spend about $75 on Fruit (whatever's good and isn't $$$) Sweet potatoes Baby spinach or butter lettuce Carrots Cucumber Bell pepper Avocado Ground beef or bison Chicken breast
