Remember that post about hooking friend up?

I had replied that 8 years ago I hooked two of my friends up. She was 18 and he was 22. She ended up getting pregnant two months later and they eventually got married and recently had baby #2.

Well, they have broken up. He has ALWAYS cheated on her and I never understood why she stayed with him. But now it's getting awkward. They are having (well had, she just took down her FB page) and FB war and airing all their dirty laundry. Eek, it was hard to read but hard to look away. I stayed up until 2 am following their very, very public fight on FB. God, I am nosey. Apparently she bashed his cell phone yesterday with a baseball bat. While it was still in his back pocket. In front of their kids. And he is cheating with a 20 year old college student for the last 1.5 years.

Ugh. I swear, if my relationship with my H ever turns to that the last thing I will be doing will be letting the world of FB know why I am leaving my H.

I will never understand the mentality of people who would fight publicly on FB. Talk about trashy and AWish!!! Good lord. They sound like class acts.

And I wouldn't get in a heated debate on Facebook, but I'd probably let everyone know he is a cheater, and then delete my account or something. Cheaters are assholes.

Ugh. My SIL was fighting with my MIL on FB and acting like a stupid spoiled bitch (excuse me, but absolutely true) and I unfriended her. I know she's family but seeing her acting like that in "front of" the 700 "friends" she had made me too irate. Totally not trying to make that about me but I guess I did.
Your friend sounds pretty awesome though for the baseball bat thing, lol.
She doesn't hold any grudges towards you for introducing them does she?

I think she knew he cheated on her from the very beginning but just kinda denied it. She never completed college, he has a good job so she was comfortable (minus the whole cheating thing).

A few years ago we went to their kid's birthday party and at the party he had two of the girls he had been screwing around with at the party. That's just nuts! And they were even friendly with the wife. I would assume she had a suspicion about at least one of the girls, since her H was always seen out with her (and without his wife), the whole town knew.

I would kill my H if he invited his mistresses to our child's birthday party!

I know, I know! At first I lol'd until I saw the two kids were standing in the garage with them

Not that those actions are acceptable but this girl is under an extreme amount of stress. Violence is not in her personality.

But she did leave for her mom's yesterday after that episode which is 3 hours away. So hopefully they will both have time to cool down.

Poor kids though. The oldest is 7, the youngest is 1.5 so it's got to be hard for the older boy. The dad mentioned in one of the post how the oldest is taking his side and hates the wife. Sigh. Leave your fucking kids out of this mess. I am sure the 7 years old is not capable to fully understand everything that is going on. And besides, he doesn't need to know. So stop turning your kids against each other
