I am looking to do more outdoor running this summer, and really need some tanks to run in. (No support tanks since I already will have a sports bra on.)
Criteria: - Non-super fitted (I hate my stomach and want something that is not form-fitting ) - Very lightweight - Easy wicking
I have read good things about LLL's 105* Singlet tank but have some Athleta rewards to use up. I have never tried tanks there before, but I can assume it is good quality. If you could recommend some, that would be great.
eta: If LLL's Singlet is the way to go, that is fine, but would love other suggestions! (fwiw, I am normally a size 8 in their fitted jacket and tanks- what size would I need for the Singlet since I've read it runs big and is already non-form fitting?)
I think I found a good tank for now (Speedsetter Tank)- no reviews so I'm assuming it's a new product? Hopefully it isn't too fitted. Loved the colors (Got it in green, red, and light been stripe) athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=46712&vid=1&pid=982715042

I have a pink LLL Singlet and an Athleta Chi Striped Tank and I actually prefer the Athleta tank. I bought a regular Chi tank but really like the striped ones better, the fabric is different - They are a little see through but they are loose and running in them has been nice.

What are Athleta rewards?!
I'm assuming it's the credit card. I have a silver Gap card (and a slight addiction to Gap and Old Navy for my kids' clothes) so I earn lots of rewards that I can use at gap, ON, Banana Republic, and Athleta.

I also bought and love the striped Chi tank. Great for yoga and running so far! I find it fitted (so it stays put in down dog) but not tight. If that makes sense.
Eta: also the striped pattern is super cute and flattering!
The Athleta Breathe tank isn't very good for running, it rides up. I like it for Spin class but not running. So don't try that one! I really wanted it to work because I like the style of it (seems to cover my tummy really well) and comes in really cute colors. Admittedly, I haven't tried a different size yet to see if that helps.
Not Athleta, but Walmart (Danskin performance) has lightweight racerback tanks for $6. I picked up a couple this morning. They fit all your criteria!
I also picked up a pair of swishy track pants for $10. I feel so 1990's They have the side zip so they are perfect for wearing over shorts on race day. I got them as throw aways for Boston, but may pick up another pair for future races.
