It went in the direction that I think we all knew it would. While I've thought Ivy was technically better, after the ring scene I was hoping that nothing would result in her performing as Marilyn. It was so mean and such an obvious distraction attempt.

I thought the end was amazing. The scene on the bed and the last song were really good! This show had a shaky start but, IMO, a great finale.

I loved the last song! I was worried that Karen wouldn't be able to pull it off, but she did.

I wanted to slap Ivy after the ring scene. I was starting to like her, but not after that.

I have to admit, Karen looked much better as Marylin tonight than in previous episodes. I thought the bed scene and the last song were great as well.

I know we have not seen the last of Ellis. He will manage to pop up again next season I'm sure.

I really hope Dev is gone for good. I never really liked him.

I wonder how long it will take for Derek to make a move on Karen since he seems to really go for the lead actress and now that she is single there's nothing stopping him.

Oh, and I forgot about Julia's possible pregnancy. I guess there will be drama next season if she is pregnant about who the father is.

Karen did look better as Marilyn, but she's way too skinny to be convincable as the part. As much as I can't stand Ivy she had the total look for Marilyn down pat.

I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Dev or Ellis unfortunately. Dev will fight for Karen, and she'll probably end up in the arms of the director. Ellis will scheme his way back in somehow just to tick us all off :-P

Julia's probably pregnant, and we're going to be left assuming who the father is, but it'll probably turn out to be her husbands but it'll cause a rift between them since he can't take the possibility that it may not be his.

I'm glad that Ivy's attempt to make Karen lose it didn't work. Although, I did feel bad for her when she was telling her mom that she didn't get the part. But not too bad since she's a total bitch.

Yea, it's confirmed for next season. D. Messing had a clip at the end of the finale that said next season will be about Bombshell on Broadway.

And i'll just ditto ang. Finally a finale I enjoyed this season.

I thought Karen did a fabulous job at Marilyn... and I wanted to smack Ivy after that ring mess she pulled!!

It was in the finale. It was quick, Tom (for some reason) was standing outside the bathroom door and Julia came out and said she threw up and that she never throws up and the last time she threw up she was pregnant. That was it, so we will have to wait until next season to find out if she is pregnant or not.

I enjoy the show. Really like the way it's filmed but I have to be honest-- I could do with two different female leads.

I wonder what direction they are going to go next season? I like the show but it seems like it was a one season kind of thing.

I was disappointed in Karen getting the part, even though I knew that's what would happen. Ivy was a million times better, she was made to be Marilyn. I was also bummed she didn't even get a song this episode!

Tom remains my favorite part of the show.

Frankly, I found the finale boring. The past few episodes had been better.

LOVED it, although I hope they tell Karen she needs to gain about 15 pounds if she wants to continue in the part. She needs some curves to convincingly play Marilyn.

I loved the new ending to the show, and was so happy that Karen pulled it off.

I also don't think it's fair to say that just because you say no to a proposal that the relationship should end. I always found that logic to be...weird.
Can't someone just not WANT to wt married (right now) but still be plenty happy with where their relationship currently stands?

I don't remember her exactly saying no and was just pissed about the timing. Plus, they didn't break up - they just didn't get engaged. Andplusalso he cheated with IVY. He did that to be a dick.

Nah, ivy didn't kill herself. She took just enough to be an AW and take the spotlight off of Karen because she just can't stand not being the one getting all of the attention.

I was thinking the same thing when she said "no". Umm, Kathryn, he didn't mean right now. I'm thinking maybe she was really overwhelmed and caught off guard and couldn't imagine adding one more thing to her plate. Maybe? I love them as a couple, but now that he's cheated on her twice I wonder if they can come back from that.

I think Karen and Dev should break up and I hope they do. First he makes out with his co-worker who obv had the hots for him. Why is he having wine with her in a candlelit setting in an apartment he shares with his girlfriend? I'm really liberal when it comes to having platonic relationships but that's just disrespectful LOL.

And then he proposes to Karen before even telling her he cheated and then he sleeps with her "arch nemesis". Of all the people to cheat with....he's an ultra douche.

Frankly, all those things taken into consideration, if she stayed with him I'd be forced to wish bad things on her all of the second season JUST BECAUSE she was a first class idiot.

Yeah, that was stupid! It bugged me, too. I thought the season finale (just watched tonight) was great!! The next season is going to feel so far away! I hope Julia is not pregnant, but that's obviously what they wanted us to think. And, Ivy makes such a better Marilyn.
