I want to integrate more veggies into my diet in place of dairy snacks. I usually have homemade kale chips when I'm at home, but I need easy stuff I can take to work with me. I already eat an avocado every day. Love them.
I can't do carrot sticks. I really just don't like the taste of them.
I was thinking of doing something with cucumber, red peppers, snap peas. All veggies I like eating. Maybe some kind of mini-salad? What's a good sugar-free thing to dress it with?
cucumber slices with tzatziki dip OR baba ganoush actually red peppers and snap peas would both be excellent with either of those as well.
or you could just make a chunky sald of cucumber and redpeppers dressed with lemon juice and oil S&P, or vinegar and oil and S&P, or lemon juice and fresh herbs, or any combination of the two.
I also found some crunchy green beans and peas at TJ's they are baked and salted, so if you're someone like me who's a cruncher than these really hit the spot.
Red bell peppers, snap peas, radishes with either hummus or Greek yogurt dill or French onion dip (thank you dannon for making me a healthy version of dip... It's addictive!) Also wholly guacamole 100cal packs are convenient and the fat helps a bit with the ringer.
Celery with almond butter, or cucumbers/carrots (sorry!)/celery/peppers with hummus or this Greek yogurt spinach Parmesan dip that I found recently at Costco. I usually do dip for just some of the veggies I eat for that snack, so I don't go overboard.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
Pretty much every afternoon, I eat sliced red & orange peppers, w/hummus. When I'm looking for a crunch, or chip like substitute, I really love Snapea Crisps.
I love hummus and guacamole. For yah kids, I smash one avocado with 1/4 cup cottage cheese and a dash of salt. They love it with crackers but it would do well with any veggies mentioned above.

I usually eat my veggies at meal times - I have several bags of frozen veggies in my work fridge. I have Butternut Squash (put a dash of cinnamon on for a little AM sweet snack), green beans, crinkle carrots and broccoli. If I do want to snack on veggies, it's usually carrot sticks, snap peas and/or Cutecumbers (from Costco)...sometimes celery w/ almond butter & a couple raisins for ants on a log.
We slice up a cucumber in discs and dip them in homemade dip (0% greek yogurt with a packet of italian dressing mix). So addictive - and really really filling.
I also love roasted veggies as a snack - carrots (bf doesn't like them raw, but loves them roasted), broccoli, cauliflower, beets, squash, sweet potato, etc. I'll do it plain, or mix it with quinoa or farro or something with a citrus vinaigrette.
And you can't go wrong with celery and peanut butter (I use PB2 so I can have twice as much!)
