Are you horrified by the rent? My first apartment-- in Brookline-- was $425/month. It was a three bedroom apartment a mile from campus. I shared it with 7 other girls.

Dear god, it's dreadful. 2400/mo, with heat/hot water paid, thank god.
Ugh. That sounds about right. Ours was $2600. It had a giant walk-in closet, which is what two girls shared.

OMG 7 other girls. I'd die. Brookline is pretty pricey though, I can't imagine what it is now.
It was interesting, that's for sure. I was so happy to move back on to campus the next year, into a penthouse, with three (relatively) teammates. Then at least we still had issues, but most of them were tied to a bad practice or hating our coach. LOL. We had lots in common.

And this was in 1996.
holy cow. He said they looked in Brookline, for about two minutes, then headed out.
Technically, it was Cleveland Circle. I think my dad nearly had a heart attack when I told him how much it was. Then I moved to Spokane after I graduated and paid $250/month for my own 1 bedroom apartment. LOL.
