What? I didn't know that! I love Christina and I don't know that the show will be worth watching once she leaves. I actually think the show has been more about Mer and Christina's relationship than anything else.
Also, she looked so beautiful at the awards ceremony!
And wow is McDreamy looking old.
ETA: just looked it up and the season finale is May 15. pugz, Are you sure she's leaving before then? I thought the teaser for next week was saying that there were a few eps left as part of her "send off".
Yeah, they haven't been building up to her leaving, so it's going to seem so sudden and awkward. Perhaps fallout from not winning the Harper Avery?
In shallow news, Meredith's hair looked awful at the awards ceremony. Glad she was there though.
I totally agree. I think it will be fallout from not winning - move to some place where she has more resources at her disposal or where she is more challenged.
And the hair was terrible. I thought Yang's hair was bad, too.
I continue not to care about the Callie/Arizona storyline. The April/Jackson argument was also a snooze fest.

I don't think next week is Christina's last I think it's like a countdown to the end kind of thing. I don't care about Callie and Arizona having another kid. It's not like any of the characters really spend much time with their children. And the April Jackson fight was silly. They already knew this. If her faith mattered that much to her she shouldn't have married him.

OMG, Christina's hair was a huge fail.
According to an article I read, the season finale will be Sandra Oh's last episode...so it looks like we get to keep Christina for a few more weeks.
Also, who in their right mind would consent to have brain surgery at 1:30 in the morning? Except for emergencies, most surgeries are done during the day for a reason.
Cristina is one of the most interesting characters on TV, IMO, so I'm really, really sad to see her go. I've been watching reruns on Lifetime lately. She killed it in the episode when Altman's husband (Scott Foley, yum) died. Totally agree about the bad hair at the awards. Awful.

I totally agree, one of my favorite characters on television, period. Sandra Oh is such a great actress. I'm not entirely sure I'm going to continue watching after this season ends, I watch primarily for her. I hope that they have Cristina leave in a positive way.

This is where I'm at. She has always been my favorite and the show has gone downhill so much that she's the only reason I'm still watching. I really doubt I will watch next season.

Wow, I had completely forgotten about that episode. Intense!
