Who has already gone to one and who is planning on going to one this year? And if you have already gone, you should post pictures.
We're planning a day or two at the Denver Con. A friend of my husbands owns a costume shop in town and gets free passes because he rents a booth at the con and offered them to us. And I am planning on doing cosplay for the first time. I'm looking forward to buying some art and maybe bumping into Bruce Campbell or Karl Urban.

I went to one yesterday Salt Lake Comic Con Fan Xperience. I wish I could have gone today too because a lot more of the big names are today (Nathan Fillion, Karen Gillan, Patrick Stewart), but still had fun yesterday.
We talked to Charles Fleischer (voice of Roger Rabbit) for a long time and he wrote some kind of coded message on our videogame that he autographed. His panel was really funny but I could tell he was having a hard time keeping it somewhat family friendly. I also met Adam Baldwin, Julie Benz, and James Marsters. I waited in line for James Marsters for over 2.5 hours, but it was so worth it because he sang to me and gave me an M&M. He was so nice to every single person who came up to his table (DH also met Billy Dee Williams and Zach Galligan (Gremlins) while I was in line). Julie Benz is absolutely gorgeous IRL, even more beautiful than she looks on screen. We didn't see many panels unfortunately because most of the ones we were interested in happened while I was in line...
I didn't take any pictures while I was there because it was like a sensory overload LOL. But here's my toy that I got signed by James Marsters and Julie Benz (my name blacked out).
We're thinking about going to the Las Vegas Star Trek convention at the end of July, it is so much fun there.

We went to New York City Comicon last year, but nothing planned for this year. It looks like they are trying to organize a Sherlock con for DC called "Gridlock," I'm mildly tempted to go to that, but I would probably just pop down on a whim if so. I'm much less into Sherlock after this last series anyway.
I'm thinking of going to Indy Pop Con but I've never been to a con so I'm weirdly nervous. They just confirmed Ron Glass so I may have to go just meet Shepherd Book.
Well I went to MTAC two weeks ago, and I'm sure I'll go to the local small con in early June, but the biggie is DragonCon of course I may try to to go AWA if my friends want to go, but they aren't real big on commitment so that one would just be a bonus, lol.
I go to NYCC every year. I already started planning my costume for next fall.
I want to go to VanCon (Supernatural convention) but I'd have to trick dh. Lol
I know at least two people who would be more than happy to go with you to one of these. They have them all over…
Sigh, the one in NJ is sold out for this year & it's only about 20 min from my house. Maybe next year. Save your money, because we need Gold tickets. Lol.
