I like this one, because you can see how much fun I was having. 26.2 w/Donna finish line.


This is my favorite, even thought it's not very pretty. This was by far, my favorite race (Surf City marathon), and I felt so strong at this finish line.


And this picture just cracks me up. Seriously giving DH the side eye around mile 23. He was biking along, and talking on the phone to a friend who called to check on me. He was giving a commentary, and then asked for updates on my pace. I was not amused.

Lol I always chuckle in the springtime when everyone is all its finally race season wahoo! Here in fl is slowly coming to an end til fall. Not too many races from June to Labor Day whomp whomp! Booooo fl heat!

This is from my obstacle race last weekend. This was by far the worst obstacle for me - they were spraying cold water over a patch of mud where you had to army crawl forever, and when the cold water hit me I had a moment of panic feeling like I couldn't breathe and was trapped and was going to die - hence the look of suffering on my face.

Ok seriously, how do so many of you look so cute when you run? I look awkward and horrible. I'm not being self-deprecating, I really do not look particularly pretty between how I pull my hair back and the way I run (standing up too straight, T-rex arms). And you guys are all out there in your headbands and your sunglasses with your smiles...no fair!

The swim pic is coming out of the water in Boulder 70.3. It's one of the few race pics where I look focused instead of smiling! The high-5 was also in Boulder. I was having the time of my life, and I feel like this pic captures that. The last one is super grainy (sorry), but is the finish of my first full marathon. I was crying and so happy it was over

From my half in February. It was a really tough race and I got my slowest half time ever, but I felt so accomplished when I crossed that finish line!



From my first marathon #1 is around mile 21 and #2 is crossing the finish line.
