I know a lot of us on here have been seeking fashion advice. So I wanted to share a online stylist tool I recently used and was THRILLED with. Best part? It's free. It's called Keaton Row. You fill out your style preferences and what you are looking for and one of their stylists puts together a look book for you. The stylists all work on commission based on what you order, but there is no markup and shipping is free. They have partnerships with Nordstrom and ASOS and you purchase through them so you know you aren't getting markup.
Anyways I was really happy with their finds for me, some of which pushed my comfort zone and helped me think of styling things in new ways.
I promise I'm not being paid for this endorsement. I was just really happy and honestly you have no thing to lose for trying it out.

OH?!?! Better than Stitch Fix? I gave up on my Stitch Fix because A. budget and most of their items were pretty pricey, even though I seleceted $50 and under -they'd always push to the edge and I'd end up wtih a $250 box. 2. I found too many "basics" though I wanted more pieces that were more out of the box for me. But mostly because my clothing budget was going out of control!
redredwine yes! Way better. First of all they don't send you actual products. They give you a look book I had about eight total outfits which I really liked and you can just buy whatever pieces you want. No hassle sending back! I felt like they were all really great and in price range. A few pushed out side of the limits but I spent just around three hundred and got (sorry pics will be huge. technology is hard yo!)
chalupa yes!!! my problem areas are my tummy and arms. I want to show off my legs. Everything was real structured to this and the items I bought all fit really well! I was skeptical about the dress, but it looks so cute! I love that they didn't just pick empire wasted stuff for me.

Um, those are GREAT pieces!!! I love the fact that you can view and then choose...maybe what I was missing from Stitch Fix, but the surprise box was fun! I'm on a tight budget for clothing again, but will keep this in mind for the future!

Yay! I'm really happy with the pieces and they've done a great job in updating my spring looks! They've fit in super well to my wardrobe and style which is casual but put together. I wanted some pieces that would push me and could mix in with classic. I agree the surprise box is fun, but it just wasn't meeting my needs you know? This is still fun because you get a lookbook customized just for you! I had seven total looks with jewelry, shoes, handbags, other accessories and the outfit so you're getting about 50 different items to choose from!
@pdx18, what if you decide not to order from the look book?
Nothing. You are not obligated too. You can request a new stylist if you feel they are totally off the mark or provide feedback to your current stylish about what isn't working for you and have them modify. Obviously because people are putting work into this and it's free, it's aimed at people who are truly looking to buy some items you know?
Bummer! Did you try requesting a different stylist?
Yeah. I just didn't see enough color, though I dunno how to describe what else I was looking for and didn't see. I'm also fluffy. Here's the kind of stuff I like:
Love ALL these. Off to stalk "Girl with Curves" as well. Thanks for the tip.
