Psych disorders are usually due to chemical balances. Would you blame a parent for having a child with a peanut allergy? No. Not your fault. You are a good mother for recognizing problems and getting them help.

You're not doing anything wrong! If both your kids were allergic to peanuts, would you blame yourself? Of course not. You're doing a great job at a very tough job.
Just wanted to say hang in there. You are doing a great job in getting them the treatment they need. I've been through it on the opposite side (with my mom) and her mom was in complete denial and didn't help at all. It's not your fault at all and you're helping them to get better. Hugs and hope it's a short visit!
What a tough situation. You are a great mom for getting them the help they need. Hugs.
Acknowleging the problems and getting help for them makes you a good parent. You can't do anything about the genetics that led to the problems, you can (and are) doing what you can to help treat them.

I am sorry. I know this must be so rough. You are being a good parent though. You are getting them the help they need and that is so important. You are being there for them and loving them and that is important. You are being strong for them and that is important. You are a good mom.

You are doing the right things. I am sorry you have been dealt this crappy hand, but I hope your children get a good treatment plan so they can be healthy. Hugs.

I'm sorry you are dealing with it. If you were ignoring the symptoms and saying everything was fine, THEN you would fail as a parent. You are doing everything that you are supposed to in order to get them the help they need. I'm sure that this is really hard and I know that I would probably take this as a parenting failure if it were me.
You are doing a great job as a parent by getting them help! Many parents would ignore the behavior and make excuses because they don't want to admit their kids have a medical problem. Remember it is a diagnosed medical problem, not a mommy problem!!
