My aunt was just diagnosed with breast cancer. She has an appointment next week to find out what her treatment options are. If you could please keep her in your prayers, I would appreciate it very much! I've never had a family member survive breast cancer but I just know this will turn out differently.

T&P for your aunt and your familly. I'm not 100% sure what you meant by the last sentence. You've had family members stricken and *not* survive? If that's the case I'm very sorry and this must be terrifying for her.
My aunt is a 30 year survivor after a lumpectomy, mastectomy and double-radical.
My former boss' wife was diagnosed with stage III/IV of a very aggressive form about ten years ago. She underwent a very aggressive protocol and today she is a model patient in remission that her doctor uses as a case study and has been featured in several of his presentations. She's even flown up from Florida to be present in person for him.
Many family members have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Nearly all of them went into remission, found the cancer had come back shortly after, and died within the month. I just have this strong feeling, or maybe hope, that she will survive this.
