Ragnar Relay Reflective Vest

Ragnar Runners - What vest did you buy for the race? The Ragnar Race Bible has a link but it's dead. 

I know you need front LED lights and back LED lights but I haven't found a vest with both. Help?

Last year we used something similar to this:

Then you just used clip on lights.

We used something similar to FMLB, and then we had clip on lights. I cliped one to the back, and then one to the top of my headband. lol

That takes care of the reflective vest requirement for each runner. Then when you're running at night, you need a head light and a tail light. I think our van is covered for those things between all of us.

We bought our vests and blinkers at the relay itself. Ragnar had a little shop set-up. They only had one style of Nathan vest, and it's not the greatest (I don't even see it on their website anymore to link). I couldn't make it tight enough so it flopped around when I ran.

You'd probably like to order a more fitted style from the website ahead of time. I see on the Nathan site that have vests compatible with LED lights.

Ahh, there you go!  The ones we got look like what a parking lot attendant would wear, lol.

You're right, not very photogenic either!

When I was training for my marathon in 2012, I wore it for some of my super early morning long runs (I don't run outside in the dark often). It chafed my neck meat every time. Seriously awful vests.

How many Ragnar's is this for you now?

I keep thinking I want to run one of these, but the Adirondack one here scares me a bit with all the hills. lol
