I am so thankful we live closer to my parents. DS is sick with an ear infection and I have a presentation this morning and DH is traveling. My wonderful mom is driving over to come stay with him.
I'm excited and thankful to get to see my best friends from high school this weekend!

Hope your DS feels better soon mollyrunner. Poor little guy. Poor mommy too. Ear infections aren't fun for anyone in the family. That's great your mom can help.
I hope that your little boy feels better soon! Ear infections are the worst
I am thankful that my poor baby girl is feeling better after a respiratory virus that she got over the weekend. The poor thing had a fever of 104 and was just miserable. I am NOT so thankful that I now seem to be coming down with what she had!!!!
I am thankful that I finally got a good run in this week, my training for my upcoming 10miler/half has been terrible and my confidence was tanking. It was just the boost I needed for next week's race!
I am thankful I went to the Dr. yesterday instead of ignoring my eye issue (I'm usually an "oh it'll get better" type of gal). Well, let's just say after waking up with an eye swollen shut that magically got better after the third round of antibiotic ointment... I am happy.
I'm thankful that my fitness is coming back and that I have discovered cycling - took a friend's road bike for a 17 mile spin tonight through the English countryside. Bliss.
I'm thankful that I don't have to work this weekend. I am looking forward to some QT with the hubs.
I'm thankful that since getting new shoes, my knee pain is 99% gone. I was starting to have a mini freakout last week when I came home limping from an easy run after changing into the next model of my previous shoes. I stopped wearing them this week, started from scratch, and ended up in something completely different. Looks like it did the trick.
I hope that your little boy feels better soon! Ear infections are the worst

I'm thankful for my student who emailed me this week to let me know how happy she is that I'm coming back to work on Monday. It really helped me not be as anxious about maternity leave ending.
I am thankful for the volunteers that help in our community. I attended an awards dinner tonight and 45 people were recognized for the volunteer efforts. It was a feel good event and sometimes I need that with work.
I am thankful that at the last minute, I took tomorrow off. DH is off in the morning and we are going to attend a car auction. Not our normal routine but going to go see a really rare car get auctioned off in my hometown. All kinds of media and rumors are flying around the sale. It will be fun just to see the auction.
Thankful for the charity bicycle ride I am working with DH on Sunday. He works for a LBS and is providing support for a great fundraising event.
