When did you stop using it? My youngest will be 3 in July. I am not using as much as I did, but I dread not having it as an option. But I look forward to the $ I'll get from selling it. She doesn't mind going running with me, so it's not like she wants out. She is on the smaller side but I noticed today her head is pushing on the canopy when it isn't extended.
How do you wash yours? Said youngest daughter brought a banana with her today. She mashed it into the side pocket. Can I just hose it down, spot clean with a mild soap, and dry in the sun?
My dd turned 3 in Jan. We are about toast with the Bob. One thing that works for us is I will put her scooter in there, run her to a park, let her scooter with me while I run, and then hop back in the stroller to run home. I know some moms on here have had their kiddos happily in the Bob later than this, though.
That's is exactly how I wash it. Applesauce pouch & yogurt everywhere.
We give our daughter run breaks. She's good for about an hour and a half if we let her run for a few minutes every couple miles. She'll be 3 in September and I'm hoping she'll stay content in it for awhile! We wash it exactly now you describe
I probably won't be running with it that much this summer because my daughter (just about 3) is on the larger side but we will keep it for the beach and to use at our shore house for walks and as a spare so we arent lugging our other back and forth on the weekends. I bought it off CL a few years old so I plan to keep it and use the heck out of it, not sure how much I will get for the resell value at this point. I scrub it with a brush dipped in detergent/water mix and then hose down and let it dry in the sun.
I'm getting scared for when DD is too big/won't go. She is super tall and at 2y4m her head rests on the canopy when it is folded. I can't imagine her getting good enough at her scooter or bike to ride along. I mean eventually, obviously, but I can't imagine it soon.
I have a bob duallie and while I don't use it much expect for the occassional 4 miler and trips to the park or library (1.0-1.5 miles each way). DD is 5 years old and DS is 3 years.
DD was just shy of 5 and DS was 3 the last time I ran with them. I'd let them run for a bit and then they'd hop in. We also would take breaks at the park, and I'd bribe with snacks. I probably could have gone a little longer with DS, but by then I had another baby. He is 5 now and there is no way he would get in a stroller. They became way too cool for it once they started kindergarten DD1 runs with me now sometimes though, and DS can scooter and ride his bike. As far as washing, I just spot clean with a rag.

My kids are 2 (almost 3) and 4.5 years old, and we still use our Bob for runs of 3-9 miles. They usually only last about 3-4 miles if they are awake, and I usually have to stop at a park along the way so they can play for a bit. But if they are asleep in the Bob, I can usually get a 90 min run in. They are both super small (like me), so they still have plenty of room.
Thanks guys Looks like I have a bit more time with it. She does complain after about 4 miles, esp. if it is cold. Looks like I am hosing down the Bob this weekend!

DD1 (6 y/o) actually likes going for runs in it more than DD2 does (almost 3), but she's just too heavy to comfortably push for more than a mile or so, at least for me. DD2 will tolerate it for 4-5 miles and then she's done. I too am dreading not having it as an option anymore, but will be glad to get the cash for it!
