I'm reading "How I Killed Pluto, and Why It Deserved It". Fun read - it's non-fiction, written by the astronomer that discovered some Kuiper Belt objects that led to the demotion of Pluto as a planet.
Oooh monsterz, I picked The Space Between Us when it was my turn to choose for my book club. Let me know if you want to talk about it. My club doesn't get too deep more like book reports, I have a unique perspective given that I've lived one side of that book at times in my life.
I'm currently reading Mr. Penumbra's 24 hour bookstore. So far, it has me hooked.
There are several The Space Between Us books listed on Good Reads, which one are you referring to?
I've been on a Susana Kearsley kick lately -- The Winter Sea and the Firebird were fun reads and are complementary.
I also got into the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. It's YA and sort of fantasy, but it's loads of fun to read. Along those same lines, also just finished the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy. Very nicely done for YA. And in the same genre (yet again! my guilty pleasure) is The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson. Loved all 3 books.
Sea of Tranquility, Fault in Our Stars, and Eleanor and Park were also great reads.
My favorites this past year were The Night Circus and The Girl You Left Behind. Not new books, but great nonetheless.

Books I've read recently that I liked: Where'd you go Bernadette Me before you Tell the wolves I'm home The dinner Defending Jacob 11/22/63- a little drawn out like all s.k. Books IMO
I just finished book 7 of the Wheel of Time series...do not start this unless you love long series (I think it is 14 book all over 800 pages) I love to read and don't like most books 250 pages or less since they just fly by.
Recently I read The Fault in our Stars which was brief but excellent it is YA but the subject matter is heavy.
Also anything by Khaled Hosseini is good but very dramatic.
If you can't tell I would talk about books all day
Trying to think of the last few books I read and loved. The Fault in our Stars Where'd You Go, Bernadette? The Book Thief (my all-time favorite) Gone Girl Tell the Wolves I'm Home The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society The Help Room The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
Currently reading Looking for Alaska and enjoying it.
I taught high school English for several years, as you may be able to tell based on my selections

me before you tell the wolves i'm home the dinner
i also recently liked The Residue Years, but it's pretty damn depressing.
I am reading the Divergent series, I just finished Insurgent last night. I am going to start Allegiant this weekend. I am nervous because I really liked the first 2 books but I have not heard good things about the third and I'm feeling set up for disappointment.

You really liked The Dinner? I thought it was one of the worst books I've ever read
