Question: Should we pick a race for a H&F GTG?

hannahb (and anyone else) You should run MB with me sometime! It isn't the best course in the entire world or anything, but logistics were good, it's flat, and there are no races in the Mid Atlantic around this time (for good reason, based on last Winter).

It will be so awesome, we can make it an annual gtg! Although if I keep my promise to DH, I could be running for two for the 2015 race.

I hope you are better at keeping those deals that I am.  I think saying you'll TTC if you don't get in a race lottery is a sure way to get in.

My BFF works and lives down there. Her and her hubby run a property mgmt co. I'll see what houses they have available. They are amazing.

I'm going in three weeks (hot) - i have an 11 miler for a long run that weekend and can't talk my best friend into running it with me.  Looks like i'll be doing it before we leave on that Thursday

I told myself that I was only allowed to travel for one race per season. I am already going to Myrtle Beach in October for the MB Mini Marathon. But...you guys are fun! And it's (relatively) close for me! It would be a great opportunity to scope out the course if I am going to do my first full there in 2014.

Love Kiawah! I've only been once but would loooove to go back-J vacationed there a ton as a kid (his stepmom's parents had a house there) and has nothing but good things to say about it. Now I'm going to spend the rest of the day pondering if I can swing a trip down there in December...

My parents are building a house there, so we will be going more often.

washington national.  it's a direct flight too. 

plane tickets less than $200 are like finding a GD leprechaun these days, so it's hard to say no.  I'm seriously considering.  I've always wanted to go to charleston and it'll be decorated for christmas at that time.  all around, v. tempting prospect.

I have no idea if I could swing it to go, but my H has close relatives in Charleston that we keep wanting to visit.... It sounds like an amazing place to be in December.

I love GTGs but nosomuch running marathons. If I can get my act together I could have 7 months to train for the half. Or be the best cheerleader ever.

As for flights, I'm Delta and would connect in ATL, if anyone wants to hook up at the airport!
