I'd be in, but it would probably have to be a drive-able weekend trip for me. Between Italy, Boston, and smaller weekend trips, my travel for the next year is pretty planned out. I could swing something within driving distance, though.
Yes, I can actually do that. I was planning on a December half anyway. I was going to run the Diva half in St Augustine, but I'd switch it for this race. That would give me a month to recover from Savannah.
It's on my short list too for marathons this year - that one and one closer to home. If I do the one closer to home, we may take a long weekend for that half.

Kiawah is the marathon I am planning for 2015. A lot of people in my running group are running it this year. I am not planning on for 2014, but I could reconsider.
lol! Remember the Nike women's marathon that some of us got into? I bought a plane ticket but couldn't do it, I had just been hired for a new job. I think lots of us didn't make it to SF. We tried!!

I was just talking to DH about a destination marathon. My in laws are in myrtle beach. I'm thinking dropping DH and DS off there and come stay with all of you. This may be a pissibililty
That would be so cool! Timing doesn't work for me this year , but I was looking at that race for 2015.
hannahb (and anyone else) You should run MB with me sometime! It isn't the best course in the entire world or anything, but logistics were good, it's flat, and there are no races in the Mid Atlantic around this time (for good reason, based on last Winter).
we had a group of 8 or so who ran the half/full a few years ago and we rented an amazing house right on the course. It was so nice to finish the half and be right in our driveway cheering on the full runners.
