I can't get the date I want (well, need -- we won't be in Granada for long!). It isn't a red sold out date, but I get the message "Right now you're trying to buy a session is not available. Sorry for the inconvenience." This is for about a month from now -- am I too early? Too late?
Should we just suck it up and book some sort of guided tour that comes with tickets, or might I luck out after all?
What date are you trying for and how far did you get in the process? Did you get all the way to payment info? Sometimes European web sites don't like American-issued credit cards, but otherwise, I can't think of why you would have been turned down.
The last time I was at the Alhambra was 2006. There was no fancy web site for reservations then.

Trying for May 27 and couldn't get any farther than choosing the date -- as soon as I clicked on it, I got the no luck message.

I e had issues using American cards in Europeans sites before too, so that may be it.
Can you try and call? Using the Skype app for international calls is insanely cheap. Maybe your hotel would call and do it for you if you asked them about it. I've done this a few times in Italy.
We bought tickets a few months in advance for last September, and the dates/times were already getting scarce. Once we were there our hotel said they could have arranged a tour. I'd try calling or emailing your hotel to see if they can help!
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
I can't believe they sell out so far ahead of time! Our hotel was showing them as sold out as well.
But I had success buying a combined ticket for the Alhambra and the RodrÃguez-Acosta Foundation (whatever that is, but it was like 2 euros more and was available), so we're in!
