This has been asked before and probably by me. Do you run with the infant adaptor? I know it's not recommended because of being top heavy but we are talking paved surface and closed to traffic.

My pediatrician told us at 2 months he could run with me as long as he is in the car seat with the adapter. I'm not off roading or anything, so the ride is just as smooth as in the car..
I did, but by 6 months I put them right in with no adaptor. The head control was good by then and it is way easier to push with out the extra weight of the car seat.
I just got mine, so I'll only be using it with #2, but asked my friends the same. They all started jogging with the littles in car seats early. But at 6.5 mo and because you're so speedy, I'd recline the baby and add a receiving blanket for more neck stability.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
i did it very early on (4 weeks) and on a smooth paved path. i moved him to the stroller, reclined, at 13 weeks with our pedi's blessing provided it was on smooth surfaces.
I never used the adapter and I started jogging with L at around 5ish months. She had good head control and I just took it slow and ran around our neighborhood (newer subdivision, so smooth roads and sidewalks).
