Incredibly dumb question...

Got a great lifefitness treadmill from CL and am quite excited. I read online that for treadmills in general you should 'power down and unplug after each use'. Ummm...how do I 'power it down'? Not seeing and on/off switch or anything.

I don't unplug mine, but I do have a way to turn it off completely (not just pressing off). I cannot remember what brand mine is, I will look when I get home tonight.

Is there a button on the front at the bottom? I'd think that'd be the power down part of it. I know on my old treadmill it was a little hard to find.

Mine has an on/off switch on the front bottom (near where the cord attaches). I also use a power strip and turn that off after I turn off the TM.

You can probably find a manual for your specific treadmill on-line--it should map out where the switch would be, if it has one, etc.

I unplug mine after each time. I don't know if there is a switch?
