Switching daycare

I'm moving G to @legalbritt's daycare! Though not until June 17th (their first full-time opening). I'm excited and nervous for the change...she doesn't do well with transitions but we'll do the best we can. At least she already has a friend there! If you have any advice/tips for me, I'd appreciate it. I'm sure it'll come up again as it gets closer when I'm asking for all your good thoughts to help us all survive the change.

You guys and your switching screen names. I can't keep everyone straight. I thought @sweetb was the name of the daycare.

I'll be watching this thread as bkb starts daycare for the first time that same day of June. I'm scared she is going to spend the whole day in tears.

Oh! I meant to message you. We just got back to daycare today after a vacation to find out that Stacy had left! She left a very nice note about how she had the opportunity to be a SAHM and follow her dream of becoming an author. I'm really bummed that it all happened while we were gone on vacation b/c I really liked her and would have liked to say goodbye. Wendy has been the assistant teacher for a couple of months now and I really like her. The new teacher wrote up a little introduction of herself to all the parents. This has been her first official week but I noticed her spending time in the class room a few weeks ago so this transition must have been in place for a while. It's probably good for G b/c these will be the teachers she starts with. I'll text you a picture of the little bio of the new teacher. - LB

Oh, we should try to get the girls together a couple of times before G starts so that G knows a friendly face in school.
