Being nauseous when I woke up a few days ago is what caused me to test with a Wondfo the first time this cycle. (When I got my first faint line.) The past 4 days I have felt so queasy. Yesterday I even threw up. I told myself this was a phantom symptom until I actually got my positive on the digital. Now I think it's related to the pregnancy.
I've been sucking on sugar free Life Savers and trying to graze on food in small amounts throughout the day.
I call my doctor on Monday to schedule my first appointment. Should I mention that I'm already nauseous? I think that insurance will only coverage like 10 days worth of Zofran a month, and a single pill is what, $20? Should I get a jump-start and try to get a prescription this early on? I'm worried about work, and being in a meeting when I feel sick. I have lots of early morning meetings.
If you had morning sickness early on, was it terrible the entire 9 months? Could this be a sign that MS may be bad for me in the first tri? BCPs (which I haven't been on in years) used to make me sick every week when the dose changed, FWIW.
Morning sickness started for me right after I hit 6 weeks but I never threw up, just felt like shit from 10am till I went to bed. It slowed down around week 13 but I get it back every now and then. I was never on Zofran.
I had morning sickness from around 4 weeks on. It lasted until 11 weeks, with the last week being the absolute worst. I never got meds. Eventually (but not son enough) I figured out that brushing my teeth on an empty stomach is what triggered me to throw up. eating a but of candied ginger & some cereal or toast and then waiting 20 min to brush usually kept the.vomiting at bay.
With my first, my morning sickness started around 6 weeks and lasted until about 14. I was nauseous all day and threw up multiple times a day, but I decided not to take Zolfran.
My symptoms started much sooner with my second. In fact, my enhanced sense of smell is what prompted me to test before my missed period. Morning sickness started at exactly 5 weeks and I immediately called my midwives for a prescription, before I had even had my initial appointment. They filled the prescription over the phone, but had me come in that week to confirm that I was not dehydrated. I took the generic Zolfran, which is much cheaper if you will end up paying out of pocket for it. I am now 20 weeks, and have stopped the Zolfran. I still have waves of nausea, and may throw up a couple of times a week, but it's not all day everyday like it was in the beginning.
Like you, I also would get nauseous from BC pills. I would let your doctor know that you are already experiencing nausea and vomiting. It will most likely only get worse over the next couple of weeks, and you will be so glad to already have the Zolfran on hand. Besides, if they wont prescribe it for you now, at least they will already have a record of your nausea in your file.

I didn't have much morning sickness, though when I did have it, it was from weeks ~6-11. Mint tea helped a bit, but what really worked for me was getting in an early morning workout. Something about it seemed to reset my hormones a bit and made me feel much more normal.
Lots of people are going to give you all sorts of remedies that worked for them - I think you have to just try different stuff and find what works best for you. GL!
I don't get morning sickness. I feel pretty great in the mornings. Nights however, especially after a hard day at work... I barfed Monday and Tuesday this week. And I'm 24 weeks!

I am also experiencing this. I think I'm just about at 4.5 weeks. We go on vacation right at 6 weeks, so I'm hoping it doesn't get too bad during that. The last few days, as soon as I've gotten a bit queasy, I chew a piece of mint gum, and that seems to help. Hopefully it doesn't get much worse for either of us....good luck!

I was sick from week 5 to about week 12. All day. I never threw up, but I got really close to it daily. What worked for me was to force myself to nibble constantly throughout the day. If my stomach was empty, it was so much worse. Oh, and it had to be bland stuff because I had major food aversions too. For example, I kept a box of Cheerios next to my bed and ate a handful before getting up in the morning. I also had a little morning sickness in the evenings in third trimester, but I just solved that by going to bed.
I started to feel very under the weather and nauseated constantly right before I tested at 4 weeks. I had had a stomach infection 2 months earlier and couldn't eat or drink hardly anything for a month. I was freaking out that it was coming back so I tested hoping that wasn't it.

I'm lucky that I have not thrown up from morning sickness, but unlucky that I feel nauseous pretty much all day, even now at almost 17 weeks. I actually did feel a few waves of nausea before my BFP and it is why I tested as early as I did (9dpo). But it really started for me around 8 weeks. My dr did give me Zofran. I filled it with generic and it is $5 for 15 pills for me. It works but also really constipates me so I have to decide which ailment I want to deal with.
Hope you feel better soon. I liken my feeling to an all day hangover without the really fun party the night before.

My m/s started around 5ish weeks, wasn't throwing up, just constantly nauseous. Started taking prenatal vitamins and it stopped within a week. They had something in them that eased the nausea, if I missed them one morning, I knew it by late morning
These are the ones that I took, got them at Whole Foods. MY OB said they were better than anything he could give me.

M/s started at 6wks for both pregnancies, peaked around 11-12 wks and was gone by 13 wks. I threw up a few times with each, but mostly just felt nauseous all the time.

I had nausea for all of first tri and most of third tri with both pregnancies. I wasnt vomiting though so I didn't take anything but tried to eat small frequent meals which helped.
I was nauseous from weeks 6-20. IIRC, I think I only threw up a handful of times. I never took anything for it and managed by eating small, frequent meals.

I felt like that right around my BFP at 4 weeks. I was so nauseous in the morning and if I didn't eat right when I was starting to get hungry I felt horrible! that lasted a few days, then stopped. It started coming back at week 6. I haven't thrown up but really feel like i could. They say most people don't feel like that until 6 weeks, but that the nauseous feeling is definitely what made me know I was pregnant before I took the test at a few days before 4 weeks. Good luck I hope it eases up!

I got it right at 8 weeks went until 14 weeks, blissful several months then boom 24 weeks it hit again. Everyone is completely different though, but a line is a line! Congrats!
I got mine around 5.5 weeks. I suck on ginger altoids and wear a seaband. I also try to drink a bit glass of water and a little chocolate milk. I notice that just having something in my stomach helps.
