My H is doing it with me, so that will be helpful. My sugar cravings are out of control since my last pregnancy, so I'm a bit scared of the "sugar withdrawals".
I've read the books, pinned a bunch of recipes, and am working on my meal plan/shopping list now.
I'm also pulling up old threads to look at. I know many of you have successfully completed Whole 30's. Any tips, tricks, or words of advice? Meal or snack ideas that worked for you? Thank you in advance!
Well the plus side is you can always eat when you are hungry. I liked deli turkey, peppers, guacamole, and an orange as snacks. I also froze bananas and then blended them for a treat. I felt amazing after about a week. Once the sugar is out of your system it should be great!
Yay! I've done a couple and the biggest piece of advice I can give you is to plan, prepare, and precook.
I like to make a week's worth of eggs in muffin tins for a quick, easy breakfast (either w/ veggies or whole 30 approved chicken sausages from Costco) and leftovers or salads w/ a leftover protein for lunches. I also like to make a ton of sweet potatoes for the week for a go to post workout staple or too add with lunches.
Oh, and to get over the sugar cravings, it was helpful for me to brush my teeth ASAP after eating dinner. It sounds silly but the fact that i had already brushed my teeth made me less likely to want (or get) dessert. Also, maybe the sweetness from the toothpaste was enough?

Good luck! Let us know if you have any questions.
I second all of this. Meal planning and cooking ahead makes all the difference. If I don't to this day I end up eating crap and my whole day sucks.
