Everything looks good, but turns out we are having Twins!!!
We are both absolutely shocked, and never expected it in a million years. We are slowly but surely absorbing the news. I'm going tomorrow for another u/s to get more scans and info!

WOW!!! Congrats. My next door neighbors had twins about six months ago. Also a very good friend has twins, too, and they live in Acton. I would be happy to put you in touch with them if you want to talk about twin stuff.
Thanks ladies, we're going to need all the help we can get as we know nothing about twins. There are no twins in our families and none of our friends have twins!!
OMG! That's crazy! Congrats, that is double the fun! H's brother and sister are twins. They are so close, it is really sweet (although poor H felt left out at times!). That's really exciting (and scary, I'm sure!).
Thanks ladies!! We had a great u/s this morning, babies hearts were beating away and they are at the appropriate size for how far along I am.
I asked about if they could tell if they were fraternal vs. identical and they said it was still too early. At one of my later u/s they should be able to see based on the placenta(s).

Oh wow, congrats! A friend had surprise twins a couple of years ago - they were totally shocked and somewhat terrified by the prospect at first, but they adjusted and now can't imagine life any other way.
