What style high heel do you think you're least likely to roll your ankles in? I sprained my right ankle 3 times in the last year..so wearing heels is difficult, but I miss them. Time number 2 I had heels on and my ankle just kind of gave out. So what are the most stable kind of high heels? Not looking for a brand, but more for type like pump vs. wedge, etc. I have a closet full of high heels I can't wear staring at me and I am going nuts ...maybe I could find something to hold me over?
I did some severe damage to my ankle last year and had to go 6 months without heels - it was awful! So I feel your pain I personally prefer to wear wedges over regular heels as I do feel more supported in them. Thankfully wedges are pretty popular so you have lots of options!

The easiest heels for me to walk in are a regular heel that's a bit wider. (Like the Cole Haan Air Carma I have on in the OOTD today).
Wedges are great until you hit uneven pavement and then it just all falls apart (literally). Every time I've fallen in shoes it's been while wearing a wedge. I still wear them, but the ones that go flat down in the front are WAY easier. Platform wedges are the worst.
