thoughts on FX's "Fargo"? (no spoilers)

Haven't seen it, but episodes are building up on our DVR.  Thoughts on this show?

We've been liking it a lot. Different from the movie but good. I think my favorite Billy Bob Thorton role yet.

I like it a lot also. Similar tone to the movie, but still really different. Totally agree with PP about Billy Bob Thornton. He makes the show!

We watched the first episode, and will be watching more. I love Martin Freeman, and BBT is great. In fact, all the casting has been amazing so far. It is gory and bleak, very similar in tone to the movie from what I recall, but still that sort of black humor.

It's okay for me. IDK, it feels like they're trying too hard to be quirky sometimes. Billy Bob is great. The rest are so-so to me.
