Yeah. The water shouldn't be too warm or too cold. I had one of those thermometer ducks - but honestly it always felt too cold to me even when the duck said it was 'hot'. If you have a measuring cup you can use that to rinse her hair.
We used a bath bathtub with sling. We filled the tub with some water and soaked a washcloth in the tub. Then we set her in the tub and put the wet cloth over her body. Then we took another cloth with a little soap (think pea to dime size) on it and wiped head, tummy, back, arms, leg, folds. The nurse said make sure you clean the folds. We got a towel and quickly dried her off. We only gave a full bath once a week. Make sure you wash the face every day with water.

This is how we did it. DS was a winter baby, so we only bathed like once a week when he was little and then sponge bath as needed.
He would get pissed when he was cold, and we had one of these: www.bathluve.com/, instead of a washcloth, but a washcloth works fine. He started liking it when he was a little older.
Yes, definitely do the warm washcloth on the belly. Keeps them much happier. I always use a cup to rinse. Start with just water on the face, then ad a dab of soap and work quickly to do the rest of the body. Pay attention to the neck and other places where milk and spit up can hide.
