Oh, I love talking about GOT so please don't feel like you can't revive the thread to add your own comments. I'm pretty sure someone will talk with you about it. Just tag some folks

I had a really upset stomach last night and went to bed early; I read book three for awhile instead of watching last night's episode, which I'll watch tonight.
I read the thread and some recaps anyway, because I just can't wait and I don't care about spoilers that much.

I go to bed around 9:30, with the majority of my evening spent looking after the kids or doing household chores before picking one DVRd show to watch. So I nearly never watch shows live. I totally get you.

I binged-watch the first season because I've heard of the show but didn't think it was a big deal. Got HBO for free a month before the second season is due to come out.
Now I'm hooked and I weep whenever I see the end credits on my TV screen.
And don't get me started on the books. I think I'm going to need therapy and anger management when I finally finish Book 5.
It can sometimes take us a few days to get around to watching it because we have to wait until our kid is asleep so there are zero inteurruptions, and with a toddler, that is tricky. He does not want to miss a party, so he will keep himself up if he knows something is going on (like his parents want to watch GoT).

Lucy stays with my sister on Sunday nights, lol. Except episode two, she came down to the living room during the purple wedding. I could have screamed!

We might have had my parents over last week on Sunday night so we could watch the show, live. For once. Ahem. Maybe. It was great to be able to do that.
