I love this show so, so much. And I don't think Will is actually going down that road. I think he's screwing with Hannibal to get him to let down his guard, and it all goes back to that conversation Will and Jack had when they were fishing about drawing him out. I suspect Freddie is hidden away in some cabin somewhere. I hope, anyway.

Maybe...but even if he had her hidden away that is creepy and not good. Plus, he did kill that other guy even if it was kind of in self defense AND turned him into that creepy thing. I do think he is trying to get Hannibal by becoming more like him to get Hannibal to sort of let him in, but I just think he is getting too close and too into it. Like letting his desire to take down Hannibal cloud his other judgement?
Good point about drawing him out though. . . man it creeps me out this show.

Oh, I don't think Will's getting out of this unscathed - he's definitely going to be messed up psychologically. But killing that guy was purely self defense, and we don't know what the time lapse between him killing the guy and him showing up at Hannibal's house was. For all we know, Jack was in on Will's decision to make the tableau to further ensnare Hannibl - I wouldn't be at all suprised if there was a phone call to Jack in there that we didn't see. I suspect he told Freddie his suspicions and promised her an exclusive, and since that's pretty much all she cares about, she probably agreed to hide out for a bit.

Oh maybe. At least I hope that is what is happening. I will be very sad if Will goes pure evil.

Oh! You are so smart. Have you seen the latest episode?

I did! I think Will and Hannibal eating the bird might have been the most disturbing thing this show has shown, and that is saying something! I can't wait to see where this goes. And I really hope Alanna has some good insurance, because she's going to need a metric ton of therapy after all this.

OMG the bird scene was sooo disturbing! You could hear the crunching, it made my skin crawl. I actually think that whole episode was disturbing. Like what happened to poor Margo and her brother making that kid cry to drink his tears? Glad to see that Freddie was still alive though. I agree that Alanna will likely need some therapy, except I think she is going to wind up dead.

Have you watched the newest one yet? Why does anyone eat Hannibal's wierdo food. I mean he has been serving fish dishes lately, I assume because he knows that Jack took the food home or to be tested, but anyway who wants to eat food with fish heads sticking out of it. Or aspic? Who eats aspic anymore.
Also, that scene with Mason so disgusting. Way grosser than how it was portrayed in the movie IMO. I have no idea how the season finale is going to wind up. I mean is Jack going to die? I feel like Hannibal will have to disappear soon but the season was renewed. So I am not sure where it is going to go.

I read her blog a few times during the first season - it was really interesting. And, in fact, it made me track down a restaurant that served jamon iberica to try it out. (Verdict: expensive, but really delicious.)
I don't think I've ever felt as physically ill during a tv show as did during that scene with Mason. My stomach was literally turning at one point. Poor pooches.
I doubt Jack is going to die. Bryan Fuller has said he fully intends to do Red Dragon as season 4, but I wonder if he's bumping up the timeline since the show was on the bubble?

Her blog is fascinating. Well, that is good to know about Jack. I read something somewhere that is shows get a season three they will get a season four, but I am not sure that is the case. That is interesting about him doing Red Dragon as season 4.

Umm HOLY F!
So his shrink was in on it the whole time? She knows what is happening? I am so confused.
Abigail was still alive? Who is alive and who is dead?
I guess since he is moving to France then next season will be Red Dragon? Or at least the preliminary to Red Dragon? That started in France right? I get the movies/books all mixed up in my head.

Bryan Fuller has implied that Chilton isn't necessarily dead, so he may still be back. My guess is that Will and Jack live (though I read an interview with either Bryan Fuller or Hugh Dancy that said Laurence Fishborne's availability is limited due to another project he's working on), and Abigail is dead. I suspect Alana lives, but anything is possible there. Though I would really hate to see most of the female characters killed off on this show (or fake-killed, in Freddie's case). I don't know if Anna Chlumsky's Veep schedule conflicts with this, but it would be interesting if they pulled Miriam in more next season.
And Scully is totally in on it. Whether it's because she is terrified of ending up on Hannibal's table or because she's not-so-secretly eeeevil, I don't know. I think I read her show got canceled, so she may be more available for season 3.

I heard the rumor that Chilton isn't actually dead. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't. I mean if Abigail can come back, anyone can. I want to know more about Abigail though, like was she just living with Hannibal this whole time?
I am sure Jack lives, maybe he will be in the hospital for a while or dealing with his wife, so he can film his other project?
I am really interested in why Scully is in on it. I mean I really did think she was terrified of Hannibal when she was talking to Will (and in earlier scenes where she was talking to Hannibal). But she did not seem overly terrified of him sitting next to him on the plane. But she is hard to read.
