I just cannot imagine willingly going to an establishment with such a history and affiliation.
I love brownies but I'm not going to be stopping by the Westboro Baptist bake sale, even if they claim to have a different name.
This exactly. I've read this entire thread and I can't get past going to a restaurant with this history EVEN if they say they are no longer affiliated with that group. And then someone posts info from their website where um, nope, still looks to have some connections to the KKK. I just can't wrap my brain around the ignorance and stupidity of patronizing a place like this. Just no.
Thanks OP I guess we won't be discussing the morality surrounding eating some chicken nuggets and a shake from chick fil a for a while.
Also, I read the OP before it was deleted and it took a few posts for me to even realize what the hell the name had to do with racism. I don't know if that makes me naive or an idiot.
I was wondering when chic fil a would be brought up
I was just attempting to be sarcastic. I don't think it worked. LOL
And Subway sells Black Forest ham. Are they also racist?
I'm not defending anyone, let's just not die on the Black Forest pie hill, k? They all originated in Germany.
I think the issue is the intentional misspelling (Forest vs Forrest) and choosing the one that is the spelling of the founder of the KKK. i'm pretty sure no one is freaked out over actual cake or ham.

I feel really naive that I wouldn't have caught on to this on my own. Still, the KKK initials are enough even for me to realize that something is not on the up and up here.

Lots of idiots here spell forest with two Rs, so yeah, I probably (and didn't) catch the intentional misspelling but I would have caught the KKK on the building and never gone in.

Everybody has already said what I'm thinking. The grossest part of your post was the picture of your H holding the menu. That was some deliberate "look at me about to tuck into some hate pie, wheeeee!" bullshit right there. So fuck you both.
"Not gonna lie; I kind of keep expecting you to post one day that you threw down on someone who clearly had no idea that today was NOT THEIR DAY." ~dontcallmeshirley

I wish that debate would also address the fact that Chick-Fil-A is not, in fact, very tasty.
