What are you training for? Date? Ironman Florida, Nov 1
Training plan for the week? M-spin, t-walk and swim, w-spin, th-walk and swim, f-spin, not sure for the weekend
Any issues or vents? I am trying to decide if I am going to actually do IMFL. I am having a lot of problems with my foot still and I am not sure if it is all worth it.
Highlights or AW's from the last week? I don't really have any. I am doing a super sprint on Sunday!
What are you training for? Date? life ---- I told DH I wanted to sign up for a half, he said, "how about a 5k?" LOL, well, okay then. Oy. Life has changed for sure. I think once I start running with some regularity again, he will give me the thumbs up for a half-marathon. He just doesn't want me to sign up, and then quit running and waste money. He's also concerned w/ the amount of time training takes.. We'll see.
Training plan for the week? don't die
Any issues or vents? I'm so freaking sore. I need new shoes like whoa, and my garmin took a shit. It dies immediately after I turn it on, even after it's been charging for hours.
Highlights or AW's from the last week? Not so much.. but I really want to come play on this board again.
Peachtree Road Race 10k (July 4)... Maybe a couple of smaller 5K's before then TBD
M - 4mi Tu - weights W - off Th - 3-4 mi F - 6 mi Sa - off Su - weights
Vent - it's officially become too hot to run in the middle of the day here. DD is kind of a late sleeper so I'm not sure how early-morning weekend runs are going to work. :/

Any issues or vents? I am exhausted after my 2 5k's this weekend.
Highlights or AW's from the last week? 2 5k's over the weekend with a pr and age group award. I also bought new shoes as one of the 5k's came with a coupon for a running store.
What are you training for? Date? 5ks before MCM training starts in June. I was looking for a flat 5k this weekend, but 5 races in 7 weeks seems excessive. 4 races in 7 weeks is perfectly normal
Training plan for the week? M - 4m + strength T - 6m + 5 800s W - 6m + strength Th - cross F - rest S - cross Sun - 10m
Any issues or vents? Mr. GT and I both finished 4th in our age group at our race this weekend. So close!!!

*dipping my toes in* Hey, if I participate every week then I *will* commit to this race!
What are you training for? Date? A 5K at Giants Stadium on July 20th. My first race since I was (unknowingly) 3.5 weeks pregnant back in early January 2013.
Training plan for the week? Week 1 of C25K
Any issues or vents? Just that it sucks to start from the very VERY beginning but I know it's for the best long-term. Short-term, it sucks and getting winded so quickly makes me think about how far I've fallen.
Highlights or AW's from the last week? Today was the first day back to running and I was thiiiiiisclose to staying in bed and going back to sleep when my alarm rang at 4:15. It took me a few minutes, but I knew I'd regret it if I didn't get up (whereas I've never regretted going for a run), so up I got and out the door I went.

What are you training for? Date? Super-sprint tri (200 yd swim, 8 mile bike, 2 mile run), 6/1/2013; starting to build up for half training - Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon 10/19/2014
Training plan for the week? M: 30 min swim T: 4 mile run W: 30 min swim, maybe bike ride but I doubt I'll have time Th: 3.5 mile run with 1.5 at GHMP F: rest S: run 6 miles (I may skip this bc Saturday is my biggest work event of the year) S: 60 minute bike ride, maybe running a couple miles after, especially if I don't run Saturday
Any issues or vents? This is my busiest work week of the year, so it may be tough to stick with my plan. Also, the high today is 90. I should have run this morning but I like getting sleep. I need to start drinking water now so I don't die tonight.
Highlights or AW's from the last week? I had my first ride on my new bike Sunday. It was so fun and so much easier to ride than the tin can I rode last year. I ran 6 miles on Saturday and felt very strong. That was the furthest I have run since March.
No real plan besides getting out and running. I am pretty new to running.
I actually ran before work yesterday and today which is a huge accomplishment for me. Although I also locked myself out yesterday morning and had to drive in to work in my running clothes, all sweaty and what not, prep for the day and then go back home when my apartment complex office opened. It made for a great story though!
What are you training for? Date? My A mountain bike race is in about 4 weeks. I may do 2 other races in between now and then.
Training plan for the week? Sunday: 30 mile road ride (still tired from Sat.'s race), Monday: massage, Tuesday/Wed.; Sick, depends on how I feel, Thursday: depends on how I feel, Friday: Off, Sat.: Race if I'm feeling better.
Any issues or vents? It's gorgeous out, and I have a sinus infection. I got to the doctor less than 24 hours after the symptoms appeared, so I'm hoping I nipped it in the bud.
Highlights or AW's from the last week? Third place in solo women in my age group in Saturday's endurance mountain bike race.

What are you training for? Date? Half marathon on 10/19! And probably some stuff in between.
Training plan for the week? Take it easy, lol! I had my quarter marathon on Saturday and my half training doesn't officially start until early June so I don't want to push myself too hard. I am meeting some local running friends for a short, slow something on Thursday, probably 2 miles or so? I don't know. I do plan to go out on Saturday morning but haven't figured out the details yet.
Any issues or vents? Nope. I feel pretty great considering!
Highlights or AW's from the last week? Just my quarter, which I already recapped. Oh, but my mom told me today that my brother might be running the marathon that I'm running the half for which would be really cool. He's training for an August IM and figures he'll be in the best shape to try to BQ.
What are you training for? Date? Chester Half Marathon, May 18th
Training plan for the week? W: 4mile run T: bike F: 5 mile run S: rest S: 11 mile run
Any issues or vents? Toenails are going black. Lacking some motivation and there is rain forecast for the rest of the week.
Highlights or AW's from the last week? Set out to run up to 10 miles on Saturday. Had gels on me and felt alright, so I did 13.1. Glad I have done the distance, I just need to practice coping with it better. Might have hurt more because I did 25 miles on my bike the day before.
nothing at the moment! Planning on some 5k's this summer - first one probably in June. I'm going to actually train for them though and hopefully get faster. I think in general I will try one day of yoga and keep one longer run a week of about 6-7 miles just to keep up what I've built until fall.
Training plan for the week?
just recovering and taking it easy. I was going to run tonight, but am working late so I don't know if I will be up for it. Plus I am still a little sore in my calves and IT bands.
Any issues or vents?
nope enjoying an easy week
Highlights or AW's from the last week?
My 1/2 pr which I've AW'ed about plenty around here!
What are you training for? Date? Kiawah half marathon, Key West half marathon 12/13 and 1/18
Training plan for the week?
M- bootcamp in AM, circuit training in PM T- C25k W- off Th-C25k F- circuit training S-C25k
Any issues or vents? Just the usual. So out of shape and so much heavier than I was pre-baby. Also, going off my thyroid medicine and I'm not sure if that's making my appetite go crazy.
Highlights or AW's from the last week?
I made it through my first bootcamp since the baby. We ran 2 miles, with things like squat jumps and pushups thrown in there. Besides the running feeling like a little bitch, it was gorgeous because it was outside on a golf course with the sun rising! Perfect weather.

What are you training for? Date?
Whatever 5k thru 1/2's I can get out for this summer
Training plan for the week?
Despite a slow start, I got in 30 miles plus a strength and spin session last week. Would love it if I can make this a regular thing.
Any issues or vents? Poor DS has started teething
Highlights or AW's from the last week?
My running group had a family picnic on Sunday. DD wasn't interested in doing the fun run they had for the kids until she saw they had medals at the end. Girlfriend will run for bling.
What are you training for? Date? Finally have another Half on the schedule, but not until September 6th. Coasting the Coast - Surfside. I think for now I'm going to get back into weights and cross training.
Training plan for the week? Pretty easy week M - weights (and I ran a quick 2 to the gym) T - 5 W - 3+ 4x400 T - biking and weights F&S - mini vacation to Boston! Lots of walking, no running S - hoping I'll find time for 7
Any issues or vents? Well turns out that after not doing weights for an eternity, it hurts when you start again. Ouch.
Highlights or AW's from the last week? I got a new pair of PureFlows. It's like Christmas! Also, totally corny, but I LOVE running when the sun is coming up. Today I got to run around the lake when it was coming up. It was gorgeous!
What are you training for? Date? Bolder Boulder- 5/26/2014
Training plan for the week? Soccer tonight and Friday, short runs Wed/Thurs, long run Sun, pool running Sat
Any issues or vents? I need new shoes. Waugh, waugh #fwp
Highlights or AW's from the last week? Ran a 10k on Sunday, and I felt really good!
I miss this most about living in CO. Seriously. Even more than my friends... (Maybe)
It's definitely one of my "must do" races every year. When I first started running I was all "I don't want to do BB. It's too big" blah blah. But then I did it and I was hooked taratru is running, too.

Wambam is back on the competition train post-surgery!
June 28th: Summer Showdown at Mad River Crossfit in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
This week is a testing week, so my workouts are "find a 1RM back squat" and "row 2k" - ie nothing to write home about.
Highlights or AWs - 15# PR on my back squat, 0:43 PR on my 2k row, 0:27 PR on Diane. Tomorrow is 1RM clean and jerk, but I have very little hope for that.
