Let's talk about coconut water.

I tried it for the first time this weekend and basically, it tastes like cum.

DH tried it and immediately spit it out and was like, WHY DID YOU LET ME TRY THIS.

When I told him what it tasted like, I'm pretty sure he turned a bit green and will *never* ask me to swallow ever again.

I tried it for the first time this weekend, too - the Vita Coco Coconut Water w/Pineapple. They were giving samples of it at Target. I liked it, I didn't think it tasted cummy at all, lol. I actually bought one DH thought it was nasty but DD liked it.

Hahahaha. Yes, it's an acquired taste. I drink it the morning after a heavy night of drinking or add it to smoothies for the health effect.

Get this: S is the pickiest eater ever but will drink this shit like there's no tomorrow. And not the flavored kind, the real straight up coconut water. I can't figure this kid out. He loves it.

Too heavy for me. It's thin but tastes "heavy". Could get use to the flavor but not the feeling.

According to my H ZIco brand is the best. Vita coco is nasty. And one brand at whole foods is okay. I think he likes plain no flavor

What kind did you get? I also find that, for the plain, that makes a huge difference.

I find it very refreshing! Both the plain coconut water and the pineapple.

I read an Onion headline once that says, "U.S. Government asks makers of coconut water to fix economy." The article basically said if they can figure out how to sell this nasty crap, they can do anything! LOL.

That stuff is nasty. I've tried it straight from a coconut and vita coco. Bleh!

I should add that I also really dislike coconut in general, though.

I have a friend who did a juice cleanse (don't ask) a few months back, and a big part of it was coconut water. She took to calling it cocobutt water.
