What do we think of this? What paint color? Would doing a muted version of the blue in the curtains be too much? I'd probably go with cream accents. Our fireplace is white with black fixtures and our couches are a darkish beige with cherry paneling.
I also really like these, but I'm stumped on a paint color. I feel like blue would be overkill, but our couches are a tough color so a brown/beige/tan paint would overpower them. Stumped. I really don't want to leave the walls white.

Love the first ones! I would take a panel to the paint store with you, have them match the blue and then go a shade lighter or a shade darker.
My friend just painted her walls grey and had a really hard time picking the grey. She painted poster boards with the sample paint as suggested by a person at the paint store. She said it was so much easier to decide that way because she could move them around the room at see what they looked like on different sides of the room in different light. Just a thought for you.
As far as the second ones. They are super cute but I might leave the wall they are on white and do an accent wall in a coordinating blue. I think if you did all the walls blue it would be too much. And beige isn't too hard with a beige couch. That's what we have now and it goes pretty well.
I like both. I agree with a nice grey color. I love gray with white and blue accents. I think it would look good with your fireplace. Now I want to come over and help decorate!

You're welcome anytime! We have a privacy fence to put up, kitchen backsplash to install, new sink and faucet, new front door/storm door and an entire house that needs paint, plenty to keep me, you and half the county busy for days
Stan, my couches are more brown than that. I'm sure it would look ok though. We have cherry paneling on the couches and that's really what keeps me from pulling the gray trigger.
Grey (I do what I want, yo) and beige look great together! I'm partial though because my living room is grey and beige Here's some pics from pinterest:
ETA: Here's one with a couch that's a little more brown/beige.
