FIL had a heart attack

K's dad had a heart attack Friday night so Saturday she hopped on a plane and went home. He had three stents put in to unblock some arteries, but now he is home and doing great. Naturally K was pretty scared. Her dad turns 75 next month but has always been very healthy and active. I think K is going to stay for another day or so and right now being around family is probably good for her in more ways than one.

Truth be told, I told her to stay as long as she needs because I LOVE having the house to myself. Doing everything with JB by myself this weekend was soooo much eaiser. And right now I'm watching crappy reality tv which you all know K hates. AND, I'm also painting my toe nails which doesn't happen when she's around because she hates the smell.

oh no I hope K's fil is on the mend soon. Being in good shape will help with his recovery. I totally get liking being home alone. I got very used to S being gone most weekend days and weekday nights. Now I am like what I have to consider you in my plans? enjoy.

Sorry to hear about FIL. I get what you are saying about getting used to being the decision maker for the weekend. When L was home every weekend this spring, I was reminded about how much I miss having control of the remote and watching stuff she hates.

Oh no! I'm glad to hear he's home and doing well. I totally understand loving having some alone time, though! Since my wife gets up so early in the morning, I'll often stay up after she goes to bed and watch my shows then.

I'm so sorry about FIL. I hope he makes a quick recovery. Not the best way to get some alone time but hey,at least you have pretty toes now!
