I signed up for a LivingSocial deal- $145 for 4 weeks of organic fruit and vegetable delivery. The voucher said it was good for a full share (which according to the company's website is 25-30 lbs of fresh fruit and vegetables.
I got my first delivery on Saturday. It was not what I expected at all (I usually use a different produce delivery company so while I didn't expect it to be exactly the same I thought it would be similar). The box weighed 15 lbs, 75% of the produce was either partially or fully inedible (it was packed strangely, a lot of things got squished, lettuce was wilted and dying, there were bugs in the box, most items were not fresh and were squishy). I took pictures and emailed/attempted to call the vendor for a refund of my 3 remaining weeks- no response.
I contacted LivingSocial now but according to their website they don't do refunds. WWYD? My husband wants me to just let it go but I'm so annoyed about this.

I would complain to living social further. This is not as advertised and not what you agreed to pay for. I would also keep pursing the company sending you the poor quality veggies. They may have over sold this deal and can't fulfill what they promised. Either way you shouldn't have to suffer or pay for it.

Even though they say they don't give refunds, I received refunds easily from both Living Social and Groupon yesterday. If you have tried to resolve it with the vendor and can't, they will give you a credit. Unfortunately, it will probably be in the form of a credit that has to be used on the site.
I doubt that the company would give you a refund directly. You purchased the deal from Living Social, not the company. If you want them to replace the produce, follow up with the company.
Thanks . I pursued it with LS and finally got a call back from the vendor. She was super defensive and said just because it didn't look good doesn't mean it doesn't taste good and I should try eating the (spoiled) lettuce and fruits because I will be surprised at how good they taste despite how they "look". She wouldn't address that she was 10lbs short on what was advertised as a share.
I sent pictures to LS as well so hopefully it will prove my case. I did pay with Amex and let them know as well- they want me to pursue it with LS first but if that doesn't prove to be successful they will do a chargeback.
I'm so annoyed- like one of the pp-ers said I counted on this to be good since it is a new subscription service. I have no produce at home now ugh.

Holy crap. I would post this on their FB too. And on Yelp.
I'm waiting for it to play out before I do any reviewing. She's not on Yelp yet and only has 7 Facebook fans (She said the LS was the launch for her service so she had no prior subscribers). She sold 100 vouchers so I'm hoping other complaints will surface soon.
Oh weird. It sounds like she is unprepared to be in business. That said, I never buy LS or Groupons for companies with which I'm unfamiliar or can't check out sufficiently before buying. I thought this was for a company you've been wanting to try, not one you had never heard of.
