Everyone here thinks that I eat hamburgers or hotdogs like several times a week. ^o) because they think Americans do that. I never eat hotdogs here and I think I eat a hamburger maybe, once a month.
So often do you eat hamburgers?? And how often do you eat food from your home country?
At home? Since it's summer we are having them about once a week. Winter it would be way less. At restaurants I typically go back and forth between that and steak. We don't go out more than once a month.
In Switzerland, nearly all our meals had an American flare to it. We never really ate anything that we don't cook now that we are back in the US.

I rarely eat hotdogs. In the states I think I might have had them once a year, if even. There was a short period where I really craved hot dogs and ate them more frequently.
I love hamburgers, though. Here, I think I eat them twice a month. In the states, I probably ate them more frequently. They are my go-to choice when we go to a BYOM BBQ.
I haven't eaten a meat-based hamburger or hot dog since 1995 or so, which is when I full-on went vegetarian (I had never been a big meat eater.. basically only ate it when my parents forced me to).
In the US, I eat bean burgers about 3-4x a month, and veggie hot dogs less frequently.
While in Morocco, neither item existed, so neither item was consumed.
While in Poland, I could never find veggie burgers, but did find veg dogs. I did not try them until I got pregnant though, because they looked gross. I don't think I'd eat them now, but when pregnant, they hit the spot. And I'd crave them, so I'd eat like 3-4 a week during one three-week period.
I don't like hotdogs at all... the meat is too plasticy or something...
Burgers - I make my own from time to time or buy them pre-made but either way, probably only eat them once a month or so... Wouldn't order them if out for dinner.
I had hot dogs 4 times in the past 3 weeks, before that, none for 4 years. I would eat them about 1-2 times a week stateside for lunch. Usually of the el-cheapo-costco or corn dog varities.
Hamburgers are disgusting nasty things here. I eat about 1-2 a month in summer (bbq usually), maybe 1 a month winter. [ETA... i make them myseld not buy them] Though, when pregnant, I eat them like twice a day every day. From Burger King. Seriously. It's creepy gross.
As for American food- I guess I eat it daily. I eat what I grew up with and what I cook myself. I am pretty sure whatever I cook is "tainted" with American influences. But oh well. My Dutch hutspot with my American flare kicks my MIL's famous pure-Dutch hutspot clean out of the water. Booyah! lol

I almost never eat hamburgers or hotdogs here. The hamburgers aren't bad (I never have beets on mine), but the buns are terrible. I have not been able to find decent hot dogs and they have apparently never heard of chili-cheese coneys here. And no matter what the Lions' Club Sausage Sizzles say, I will never believe that a frankfurter-style sausage wrapped in a slice of untoasted white bread with a squirt of "sauce" is NOT a hot dog!
I do the cooking in my house, and everything I cook is American-based, if only because I use my American cookbooks. I think the only "Aussie" things I have attempted are a Butternut Pumpkin risotto and crumpets, but the crumpets were only because I was making a loaf of crumpet bread and had batter left over.

Here in London I'll have a hamburger once or twice a month. There are a few really nice gastropubs near us that serve amazing hamburgers with goat cheese and sweet onion relish. YUM, YUM, YUM!
And while I'm at it, I'll have the twice-cooked chips to go along with it
But I wouldn't say this is really American-style as these are proper British pubs that don't cater to tourists.

I don't really eat hotdogs, although I'll eat German Frankfurters on occasion, which are similar (but definitely not the same!).
Hamburgers we eat maybe once/month or once every other month because DH is always asking for them. And he's the German.
I used to eat Burger King cheeseburgers occasionally before teaching my English class, but in the last year or so I've gotten sick to my stomach after eating BK, so I'm avoiding it now.

I've got nothing against hotdogs though I don't eat them too much. When I do, it's at an event or something. I do not like ketchup, mustard or relish, so I generally eat them plain. Whenever I go to Dairy Queen (meaning when I am in rural Americana), I'll get a cheese dog. Yum. Also yum to Ben's Chili Bowl's chili cheese dog, though I don't eat there too much.
I am really generally not that crazy about burgers. I don't like the traditional toppings and I don't usually order burgers when I am out. When I do get a burger, then it's a bacon cheeseburger with lots of junk like lettuce, mayo, mushrooms and a few jalapenos. I love to get those from the 5 Guys chain from time to time.
Also, in Egypt, I had to go to Burger King and chow into a bbq beef burger. I was not disappointed. I'm all about cultural exploration and I'm generally an adventurous eater who tries new things, but when I saw the Burger King in Egypt, I was like, "America, yee haw! Time to taste the freedom fries!" (I'm joking).

Mcdo makes me sick too and I don't even order a burger ;-(.
I'd say I eat a hamburger 3-4 times a year and a hot dog 2-3 times a year, and that is still living in the U.S. H probably hasn't eaten a hotdog since being in Shanghai, but he eats burgers pretty regularly, at least once a month. There is a place called BlueFrog that he likes to go with his work friends for a burger and a beer.
In the summer, when it's actually sunny, I have hot dogs a few times a week because that's the easiest thing to take to the park to grill. The rest of the year? Maybe once every 6-8 weeks? Norway loves hot dogs. I don't eat nearly as many hot dogs as the locals.
Burgers? Probably also 6-8 weeks? (Excluding times when the chef in our office canteen makes them for lunch)
I haven't had a hot dog in years. Last one was in NYC 3 years ago.
Burgers on the other hand, I love. When the weather is ok to grill, I usually have them once a week or every other week. I do make them myself though, with good quality beef.
We have them far more often in the summer when we are using the BBQ. We usually make our own hamburgers and we only buy the American style hotdogs (I do not like the red Aussie hotdogs and even DH won't eat them now either). I don't find too much of a difference between American food and Aussie food. Of course there are a few things different but most of what we eat would be found in either country.
