It's thundering. I love it. I'm sad I'm stuck at work. I want to enjoy the thunderstorm!
Should I be concerned that Excedrin and Ibuprofen both gave me severe stomach pain two days in a row? I've taken them before with no issues but I usually use Tylenol.

No not together. I took one excedrin Monday for a headache. I waited an hour, still had a headache, so I took another. I thought my stomach was trying to claw it's way it if my body.
Yesterday after my run I took an ibuprofen (for my hip). Not as bad as Monday but I was really bloated and curled up in the fetal position the rest of the night.
My H says I just need to avoid NSAIDs but I wonder why I could take them before with no issues and can't now?
Edit: I'll add the disclaimer I don't usually take any medication. It has to be pretty bad for me to take anything and two days in a row is almost unheard of. So it's not over use.
It has been rainy here too. Yesterday it was pouring in the evening but it was still warm enough to have my windows open. Sewing and listening to the rain might be the best thing ever.
I got a $.44 raise. Um... I guess that's sort of exciting. They still need to pay me more but I think I'll wait a few months until I've been there a full year and ask for more money.
I found out the AC compressor on the S2000 is bad. I knew the ac wasn't working when I bought the car and I knew there was a risk it was the compressor so I budgeted in extra to fix it but I was really hoping it just needed a recharge. Nope. I need to spend $1300 to fix it.
Any time I'm getting anxious about things, I try to take deep breaths and focus on something else, even if it's just the deep breaths and making them as slow as possible. I hate anxiety.
So the testing was pretty uncomfortable, but tolerable. Basically he said I have no nerve damage in my elbows/arms or neck. Which is really great news, but a little concerning because I don't understand why I would have the numbness. He said that if I hit/ding my elbows that I may be irritating the nerves, which can cause the numbness, but their equipment can only detect damaged nerves and not irritated nerves. I go back to talk to the neurologist in three weeks to discuss it all with him.
Hugs doglove! Buddy pics are adorable and I seriously love seeing them. It makes me really want a golden but we can't have dogs at our apartment and I don't think I would want a dog unless I had a safe outside space for them to be. Which puts my puppy time frame pretty far away...
tiramisu, since M is out of the picture (romantically), how is progress with P&G?

Actually goldens would probably make good apartment dogs since they like to be around their pack 24/7. I wouldn't advise leaving a dog in the yard unsupervised because a number of things could happen (swallowing something poisonous, bug bites, escaping, stolen, etc.) to them.
doglove, I'm glad there is no damage! I hope the neurologist can suggest something to make your nerves happy (like PT or bracing at night or something).
captainmel P&G and I chatted on Monday. I ran into him and another coworker and said hello, then sent him an email saying I hadn't wanted to interrupt but wanted to hear trip stories. He invited me to his office to chat and we ended up talking for a while, including about online dating. I still can't tell if he's just friendly or if he's being extra cautious (like I am). Hew did mention getting together and then immediately made it a group thing. So basically, no real progress.

Stop it. I'm the same way.
I know NSAIDs are pretty harsh on the stomach. Did you take the meds on an empty stomach? Or on an already upset stomach?

We can never meet. We'd just meld into one person.
I had a snack before hand! H made me. I'm sort of dumb about these things, so I always ask him questions lol. "Can I take this?" "Make sure you eat something!"
I felt fine before taking them but yesterday my stomach could have been a little iffy from the night before.
One boss man asks this morning when the drawings will be finished. Well you changed a lot for me. I have to go back to every page and adjust. GRRRR
Two: I am trying to throw a last minute party for H on Saturday at the park. Only 3 people have responded to my facebook memo. I know these people have been on FB I see them post other random crap. It's also supposed to rain. I'm not sure what to do.
Three: Next Friday I am hosting an after Graduation party for my BIL at my house. I sent out emails to everyone Monday and also only heard back from 3 people.
mags, that is a LOT. No wonder you're stressed. doglove, I'm glad you got through it and the results were positive
I woke up today with no zombie-like tiredness! YES!! And day 3 of diet overhaul and the only extra sugar I've had were some berries for dessert last night.
