I got an email about a "Welcome Home Meb" event on Saturday to welcome him back to San Diego. I was so excited and told DH who said "that's weird." You guys get it, right?

Go! I did a group run with him one time when he was in town and it was so fun. He's seriously just the nicest guy. He talked to DD1 for a couple minutes about her running shoes

I can't remember which marathon it was, maybe the Seattle RnR. But he was there promoting some headphones at the expo. My mom took a creepy amount of photos of him. We introduced ourselves too, super nice guy! This was back in 2010.
