Hope you all had a great weekend! My house is overrun with house guests for the next week so I am exhausted today, hoping my energy kicks in soon!
We have had some HOT weather so I made DD a 'cold' lunch Here is my arctic chill lunch! A turkey and cheese sandwich with a cheese penguin cutout on top. Top tier also has some sliced cucumbers. Bottom tier has iceberg and snow marshmallows and blueberries for water. A couple of seal picks make it cute and playful.
This is what lunch looks like when I am running low on groceries! A PB&J sandwich with a flower stamp on the bread and a silicone cup of raisins are in the bottom tier. Top tiers has a sliced kiwi and some strawberries on a flower stem pick. Quick and easy!
Thanks! I am really going to have to kick the creative juices into overdrive when school starts this fall. Right now I am only making lunches 2 days week and she will be in school 5 days this fall!

You are welcome. I look at a couple of bento blogs and it is amazing what some of these people do. Although, I think some of them just do it as an art project not a child's lunch.
I agree, I have seen some that look more like art then a kids lunch. Also, there are some that I know will never be able to actually be in a lunch box and still look cute when the kid gets to school. My favorite blog is Meet the Dubiens. The first week of August she will be doing a Bento week in prep for Back to School. She also has some really cute snack ideas. And at the bottom of each post, she gives a link to buy any of the stuff she uses for her lunch.
