Patience has never been my strong suit. I want to go out and run RIGHT NOW. I don't mean slog around my neighborhood, I mean, run like I used to run.
Oh, and I'm on My fitness pal (again). My name is stingsharkruns -- My goal is not to lose more weight, but to make sure I'm eating enough calories to continue to BF DD... (who by the way, has found her voice and is sitting on her boppy lounger yelling)
For some reason when I search your MFP name it's giving me no results, but you can try hunting me down-same SN as here.
And I hear ya. Yesterday morning, I ran a mile warmup then two miles "harder but not super hard"...turns out that pace is the pace I ran my easy long runs at before I got pg. It was mildly depressing, but I'm trying to use it as a motivator to run more than twice a week.
I'm pretty sure we are already friends bc you come up in my feed. osulori .. I'll check when i get back to my computer. I don't know my password so I can't login from my phone.

You're right, we are! I knew that. I need more caffeine.
Wasn't there some nerve damage in your foot? How is that?
The nerve damage was in the peroneal nerve, which wraps around your knee and travels down your leg; the damage was up near my knee, but it affected my foot..
tl;dr
yes. nerve damage that affected my foot. It is 100% better. I had full ROM back in my foot around 10-11 weeks (i think, everything is a blur). So it's been better for about 8 weeksish.
I can definitely relate, but as a post pregnancy success story, know that you will come back someday. You're only 4 months PP so just give it time and slowly your pace will improve.
Fitting in runs got a lot easier after 6 months when DD was sleeping a little more reliably and stretching out her BF sessions.
Kudos on running with the stroller, I'm too lazy to pull it out of the attic. So H is just stuck with watching DD and DS.
You'll get there, promise! I remember after having Ainsley, I couldn't go more than 5 minutes at a time and the thought of even a half marathon was laughable. Just keep on keepin on.

Read some of your recent blog posts the other day. So happy to hear your foot is 100%! Sorry about that other thing...You are a tough woman.
You'll be back and even better than before in no time. The mommy thing is hard adjustment. Especially, the first time when EVERYTHING.SINGLE.THING is new and you're feeling your way around. You're doing a great job.
