Does it help you when you can identify the cause? Bc for me, not the same, I know, but when I'm on steroids, it makes me MADDER that I know it's at least partly the 'roids rage
I was just reading that there is a physiological calming response to verbalizing negative feelings, even if the reasons aren't rational. The article said even going in a room alone and saying aloud "I'm Fucking pissed that we are out of ketchup and it's ruining ny dinner and my day and my life and I want to punch things" should elicit secretions of calming hormones ersumshit. It's a little woo, but I mentally filed it away to try.
