In case you managed to miss my endless posts about this, I have Lake Wobegon Trail Marathon tomorrow.
"Trail" is kind of deceiving. It's pretty much the opposite of a true trail race. It is mostly rural, but we'll run on a paved pedestrian path that used to be a railroad track, so it's smooth & relatively flat.
Edit: If you listen to "A Prairie Home Companion" - this is it. Farms, fields & small towns in Garrison Keillor land. I basically live in Lake Wobegon. (Though it is a fictional town.)
Theoretically, I am doing a cross country mountain bike race tomorrow. Between me being sick and the forecasted rain, I may be going only to pick up my packet w/tshirt and beer glass.

I'm doing a local 5K. It's my first race since I broke my foot in November. I am super excited. The race is at noon, which means it should be about 80 degrees with 80%+ humidity. Fun times.

This sounds like the perfect setup for a fast course! I did my final 22 miler for my last race on a paved rail trail, and it was awesome! You're going to kill it.
I'm in MT for a wedding and apparently there's a race right near our hotel tomorrow morning. You know I'm going to do it if there's race day registration.
ETA Looks like I'm out of luck. I may just have to hit the hotel treadmill because I don't really know where to go.
